ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Purchase packaging and/or raw materials as required to support the plant production schedule.
Keep current on status of purchase orders and maintain a professional and effective working relationship with suppliers.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/TRAINING:
Educational attainment equivalent to Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management or related field.
Considerable experience involving inventory control, purchasing and materials management work using computerized databases
Strong Excel skills including v-lookup, if-then statements and Pivot tables
APICS CPIM Certification preferred.
APICS CPIM Certification required: pass module 1 within first year and obtain full certification within 3 years of hire. (This is a company sponsored certification plan.)

Position Summary:
This position is responsible for compiling amounts owed by the company to vendors, suppliers, or other organizations/individuals. Maintains all payment or other transaction records. Responsible for all activities in the accounts payable function, including invoice entry to general journal entries. Prepare and performs payment run, reviews for accuracy, obtains approval and sends payment files. This will include standard payment group and special runs such as commission or rebate groups.
Reconcile vendor statements. Communicate with vendors to resolve account discrepancies and responds to vendor inquiries.
Complete and process credit applications from vendors before routing to supervisor and provide Tax Exempt Forms as needed.
Works closely with Purchasing to update changes in pricing and terms and respond to related questions.
Responsible for validating all vendor requested bank changes by contacting the vendor directly and noting the workflow records for audit controls.
Compiles from Concur the employee expense reimbursements, books the expenses via journal entry and creates files used by Payroll. This is done both weekly and bi-weekly depending on the Oatey company being processed.
Processes the company credit card statements to record the expense submitted through Concur and via spreadsheet, this includes reviewing the coding to ensure it is correct to the best of our ability and monitor to ensure it balances monthly.
Maintains a group of vendors that take credit card payment outside of our normal process, this includes certain utilities. Downloading of invoices to load in AP Invoice workflow, once invoice is paid, entering the card info for payment on vendor website.
Complete assigned account reconciliations as directed.
Provide supporting documentation for the annual audit, Ad-hoc projects and other tasks as assigned by supervisor and as needed by the department/company.

About the Role

What You'll Do
Develop, implement, and continuously improve EHSS programs that meet company and regulatory standards.
Lead or support safety initiatives and training that build engagement and awareness across the site.
Conduct inspections, risk assessments, and audits-helping us spot hazards before they become problems.
Investigate incidents, uncover root causes, and ensure corrective actions stick.
Track and report EHSS performance metrics that drive decisions and continuous improvement.
Maintain accurate documentation and compliance reporting.
Support environmental programs such as waste management, air and water permitting, and sustainability initiatives.
Partner with associates and leadership to foster a strong culture of safety, accountability, and teamwork.

What You'll Bring

IT Analytics Intern Position Summary:
Under the general supervision of senior IT leadership, the intern will complete a variety of assignments to support modern analytics at Oatey to include ingestion of new data sources, creating new data pipelines and transformations, creating new reporting views in SQL, working alongside business teams in the creation of Power BI reports and dashboards, and further improving the overall analytics community with new training content and documentation. Job Description & Accountabilities:
The purpose for this opening is to review all our credit requests submitted by customers for validity and accuracy while ensuring that all credit requests are properly documented and processed in accordance with established Return and Allowance (R&A) procedures. Additionally, this person is to perform basic credit related tasks (i.e. request credit applications from customers wanting to buy product on open credit terms, verify trade reference information provided on credit application, run Dunn & Bradstreet reports, request financial statements, etc.) under the direction of the Credit Manager.
Perform analysis of credit requests submitted by customers to determine validity and accuracy
Process credit requests in a timely manner and in accordance with established departmental and company procedures.
Quickly identify and review material ($1,000 or greater) credit requests/chargebacks to ensure they are resolved in a timely manner.
Coordinate product returns to designated Clopay facilities, while ensuring that credit is not issued until such returns have been properly verified.
Communicate with both internal and external customers in resolving outstanding credit requests in a timely manner.
Ensure that all credits are approved in accordance with established authorization levels.
Ensure that all approved credits are properly documented so as to ensure that duplicate credits are not issued and Sarbanes-Oxley requirements are met.
For those credit requests that are denied, coordinate re-billing and collection with the applicable Senior Credit Analyst located within the Credit Department at Mason Corporate offices. credit/collection personnel.
Job Requirements & Qualifications:
Minimum of High School diploma or equivalent; continuing education preferred.
1-2 years' experience handling credit related activities within a manufacturing environment preferred.
Proficient with MS Office; Excel, Word, Teams, Windows as well as corporate email
Experience with cross collaboration across multiple departments (i.e. Distribution Centers, Sales, Customer Service, Quality, Legal, AR/AP and more).
Hands on coding and credit auditing
