Position Overview The general role of a Tower Technician II - Wireless Services is to safely and efficiently complete equipment installations, repairs, and upgrades at communications sites both on the ground and at elevated heights under the supervision of trained personnel. This work will be performed in both commercial and industrial locations. This individual will represent Pillar Innovations in a safe, professional, and courteous manner. The Tower Technician II - Wireless Services will report to the Construction Manager - Wireless Services and will work primarily out of their assigned location.     1.0 Corporate Job Title • Additive Technician 2.0 Reporting Relationships • Additive Coordinator • Perform additive additions to various bulk quantities of petroleum products. This activity includes transportation and physical addition of various additives to fuel oils, diesel oils, gasoline and other petroleum products at various customer sites. Must maintain a valid Transportation Worker's Identification Card (TWIC). 5.0 Fitness for Duty - Physical Demands • Refer to Appendix 1 of Section 2.1.2a of the Safety Manual, Medical Evaluations for details on Fit for Duty - Physical Demands for this position. • The ability to perform all tasks listed is a requirement for this job description 6.0 Responsibilities • Receives bulk drum shipments of various additives and places those drums in inventory. • Loads the proper number of drums necessary to complete the additive addition and transports the drums to the proper facility location. • As instructed by the Additive Department and using established company procedures, performs the appropriate additive addition to the proper shore tank, vessel, etc. • Acts as a company representative in the field and performs duties and responsibilities as per company policies and procedures. • Maintains regular contact with Additives Department to receive work orders and schedules. • Maintains and cleans all associated equipment. Ensures the equipment is in good working order and properly stored during transport and storage. • Assists in the training of Additive Technicians with less experience. • Be available during non-working hours, weekends, and holidays as dictated by the Additive Department.
