Key Responsibilities: Conduct diagnostic tests to identify issues and determine necessary repairs on gasoline, diesel, or CNG engines. Perform routine maintenance tasks to prevent breakdowns and optimize performance. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient and accurate repairs Complete preventative maintenance (PMs), safety inspections, and annual maintenance inspections. Lead diagnostic tests to accurately identify complex issues and determine comprehensive repair strategies for gasoline, diesel, and CNG engines. Perform advanced troubleshooting and repair tasks on gasoline, diesel, and CNG engines, including overhauling and rebuilding components to required specifications. Provide guidance and mentorship to junior technicians, assisting them in developing their skills and knowledge. Other duties as required. Qualifications: 2 years of experience as a Gasoline, Diesel, or CNG Mechanic. ASE certifications preferred; ASE certification program provided. Builds complex production sheet metal assemblies, mechanical assemblies, utilizing drawings and work instructions. Essential Functions and Responsibilities include the following: Build aviation Sheet Metal Assemblies by match drilling and deburring holes, installing solid and pull type rivets using rivet a bucking gun, hand rivet squeezer, pneumatic solid rivet squeezer, and pneumatic cherry gun. All assemblies are built using engineering drawings and sketches. The technician is responsible for ensuring rivets are installed per the standard AC43.13 requirements. Builds Mechanical Assemblies using engineering drawings and/or work instructions. Review completed work and ensure that the final assemblies and details are protected from damage. Ensure that all assembly work meet quality standards. Perform testing and functional checks of assembled products. Review drawings, and parts lists for accuracy and coordinates with other departments to resolve issues. Tear-down, evaluate and repair of returned components. The responsibility of the Assembler is to perform manual labor along production lines using a variety of hand and air powered tools, fixtures, work instructions and testing equipment to perform a series of operations to correctly assemble units per customer's and internal quality specifications. Assemblers may perform minor repairs to units, and pack units for shipping as necessary. Perform preventative maintenance such as changing contacts, checking motors, and the operation of automated and robotic systems.
