Our Interns help our clients improve their business processes, internal controls, operating efficiency, transparency and performance management, and ability to comply with federal laws and regulations. During your assignment, you will be given the opportunity to support projects to address some of the most significant project challenges faced by federal clients. Guidehouse projects are extremely fluid and require self-motivated individuals willing to develop solutions on their own or in a team of highly skilled professionals. Project members are provided the opportunity to interact with our clients' senior management and enhance their skills in the areas of technical competency, business development, client service and people development.
Throughout the internship, you will have the chance to work with our internal teams on the assigned project/contract, meet with upper management to reflect on your personal and professional development, and socialize with your fellow interns during outings/activities.
As an Intern, you will work with an experienced team to support the development of client deliverables, internal and client presentations, day-to-day project logistics, and any additional project tasks. What You Will Need:

The systems accountant could also be asked to do the following:

What You Will Do:
Analyzes user's requirements, concept of operations documents, and high level system architectures to develop system requirements specifications.
Analyzes system requirements and leads design and development activities.
Guides users in formulating requirements, advises alternative approaches, and conducts feasibility studies.
Provides technical leadership for the integration of requirements, design, and technology.
Incorporates new plans, designs and systems into ongoing operations.
Develops technical documentation.
Develops system Architecture and system design documentation.
Guides system development and implementation planning through assessment or preparation of system engineering management plans and system integration and test plans. Interacts with the Government regarding Systems Engineering technical considerations and for associated problems, issues or conflicts.
Ultimate responsibility for the technical integrity of work performed and deliverables associated with the Systems Engineering area of responsibility.
Communicates with other program personnel, government overseers, and senior executives.
What You Will Need:
An ACTIVE and MAINTAINED TS/SCI Federal or DoD security clearance with a FULL SCOPE (FS/FSP) polygraph
Bachelor's degree; FOUR (4) years of additional SE experience may be used in lieu of bachelor's
SEVEN (7)+ years' experience as a SE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type arid complexity.
What Would Be Nice To Have:
Master's degree
ONE (1)+ year of experience in the legal or technical aspects of Intelligence Community Privacy Compliance required.
The annual salary range for this position is $130,000.00-$216,000.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.

Job Family: Cyber Consulting Travel Required: Up to 10% Clearance Required: Active Top Secret (TS) What You Will Do: * Provide comprehensive IT, cybersecurity, and data operations services for DoD program in AWS GovCloud. These services include information system, application, network, storage, and cybersecurity design, implementation, optimization, and sustainment.
* Design and maintain a high-availability, scalable system architecture, and develop proactive cybersecurity measures including applying hardening measures to AWS GovCloud environments, ensuring control enforcement and alignment with the DoD's cyber and privacy mandates.
* Provide comprehensive NIST RMF support via an instance of the DoD Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS) platform, including Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) assessments and Plan of Actions and Milestones (POAM) remediation.
* Develop project artifacts and system documentation to support cloud cybersecurity initiatives across the program.
* Develop and maintain a ZTA across DoD Impact Level (IL) 2, IL4, and IL5 cloud infrastructure, ensuring continuous compliance with DoD Zero Trust mandates and guidelines.
* Design and implement advanced security architectures for predictive threat detection, response, and real-time security insights to support emerging threat identification and cloud infrastructure resilience.
* Ensure that systems, applications, and components comply with DISA's Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) and Security Requirements Guides (SRGs).
* Conduct full-scope vulnerability assessments and penetration testing of new and modified applications, servers, databases, and infrastructure components before deployment.
* Monitor and analyze program cyber resources (e.g., threat detection and response logs, Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) logs, anomaly monitoring and response, account aging and role assessments) and alert stakeholders of abnormal findings.
* Develop, recommend, and implement automated incident response workflows to enhance the speed and efficiency of handling cybersecurity incidents through incident lifecycle management.
* Establish interactive and advanced threat simulation labs and scenario planning exercises to prepare for future cyber challenges.
* Manage and provide expert-level 24/7/365 security monitoring and detection support, monitoring user activities and detecting anomalies that may indicate insider threats or compromised accounts.
What You Will Need:
* A bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, information systems, or a related field.
* A minimum of EIGHT (8) years of experience in managing cybersecurity projects of similar size and complexity to this requirement within a cloud environment.
* A minimum of EIGHT (8) years of experience with the NIST RMF, NIST SP 800-53, STIGs, SCAP, IAVAs, and FISMA.
* Experience providing cybersecurity design, operations, and enhancement support for AWS GovCloud
