Job Summary:
The FalconCare Maintenance Representative will provide on location oversight of maintenance being performed on FalconCare covered aircraft. Principal Duties:

Provide answers to questions regarding FalconCare, warranty and commercial program coverage
Recommend cost effective repair options while ensuring DFJ meets contractual support obligations to programs
Assist review and processing of FalconCare and warranty invoices
Negotiate with service providers to resolve invoicing disputes
Responsible for customer follow-up to ensure timely resolution of invoicing/coverage disputes and to control associated costs
Analyze expense elements to focus company attention on cost saving areas
Coordinate/assist as needed with support personnel (Spares Account Reps, Field Service Reps, Help Desk, and Service Engineering) to ensure proper level of customer support
Provide training to customers and service center personnel on FalconCare and warranty processes
Non-Principal Duties:
Make recommendations for increased dispatch reliability and cost efficient maintenance
Work with authorized service centers in establishment of new flat rates and periodic review and updating of existing flat rates for scheduled inspections and frequently seen tasks
Review in-service aircraft prior to enrollment

Minimum Qualifications:
FAA A&P license required

Dassault Falcon Jet in Melbourne, Florida is seeking a full time Maintenance Crew Chief (weekend shift 4/10 schedule) who will be responsible for the efficient execution of the work scope and for the maintenance, preventive maintenance, and alterations performed under the authority of the FAA Certificated Repair Station. The Aircraft Crew Chief performs tasks and ensures tasks, within the scope of their normally assigned duties, are performed using established standards of quality and airworthiness.
MINIMUM REQUIRES QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma or GED
Possess FAA Mechanic's Certificate with Airframe and Powerplant rating.
Must have minimum 5 years' experience with Falcon models.

Possess a working knowledge of the Federal Aviation Regulations and in particular, CFR parts 43, 91 and 145; and 135 as required.
Possess working knowledge of aircraft factory modifications, service bulletins, inspection program requirements, vendor information and all other procedures, publications and general information pertaining to aircraft.
Strong computer skills including Word processing, Excel spreadsheets and project management applications.
Demonstrated project management skills.
ADDITIONAL DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

WORKING CONDITIONS:
Hangar and ramp environments with variable temperature range normal to Florida weather in the area. Melbourne hangar will be air conditioned.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Effectively lead teams with the Customer Projects Supervisor and Quality Assurance Inspector assigned to the aircraft to efficiently execute the aircraft work scope and communicate at all levels of the organization and with customers.
Attend customer debrief meetings for all aircraft assigned.
Assigns maintenance technicians and Quality Control Inspector personnel on crews and from support shops to perform the tasks required by the work scope and monitors performance to plan.
Oversees the daily activities of assigned work crews taking necessary action to ensure that all work is completed within schedule and estimated labor and material costs
Drives the team for maximum efficiency and effective use of available resources including assignment of overtime as required and authorized and accurately charging labor hours to the appropriate Work Order Squawk
Assigns the tasks as required by the work scope with efficiency and to quality standards, paying particular attention to appropriately assigning tasks to the QC Inspectors
Ensures the use of applicable technical data, including but not limited to the methods, techniques and practices prescribed in the current manufacturer's maintenance manual.

Monitors all work performed by the crew to ensure that all work accomplished meets quality standards and is airworthy.

Ensures that crews maintain good housekeeping practices by utilizing a 5S system of “Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize and Sustain”. Take immediate action to maintain a clean safe work environment.
Insures that assigned crews follow adequate safety precautions and procedures, inspect equipment to ensure it meets company safety and OSHA standards.
Supervise a continuous safety program in their area of responsibility, including operation of support equipment, aircraft systems, housekeeping, and hazardous materials.
Maintains a focus on Human Factors in the workplace and drives to zero defects in workmanship and safety. Supports the Quality Issues Notification system.

JOBS and RESPONSIBILITIES

Proper tool control is mandated by the FAA and our Repair Station and Quality Control Manual. It is imperative to have the correct tool logged to the aircraft that it is being used on for calibration usage and recall purposes.
Perform other related duties as assigned by the respective Maintenance Supervisor.
Extended travel to offsite locations to perform job duties and/or training may be required.
