Summary

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Complete understanding of the litigation process, especially large case management; manage all facets of matters from discovery through trial.

Assist in deposition/interview/hearing preparation, document review, productions, and case preparation at/for trial/arbitration as needed.
Observe confidentiality of client matters at all times.
General support of attorneys and other business professionals across all offices and practice groups as business needs arise.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 5 years' paralegal experience. Experience in Healthcare matters preferred.
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Familiarity with the litigation process (i.e. case management, discovery, databases, privilege logs, court filings, e-filing, cite checking, Shepardizing, and Bluebooking).
Experience in preparing for and attending onsite trials and arbitrations.
The ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
Must be a flexible, proactive, self-starter, to respond quickly and positively to shifting demands and timelines; ability to work under tight deadlines on detailed tasks.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS):
Perform the required troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair as needed of Falcon Aircraft anywhere in the world depending on their AOG location. To include locations at various points across the Americas and the globe which could include remote areas where modern conveniences may not always be available.
Perform all stated maintenance or basic avionics tasks and associated checks, inspections and/or troubleshooting as identified on the assigned AOG or drop-in aircraft.
Identify all troubleshooting tasks and maintenance tasks to be performed and parts to be ordered for a particular AOG.

If you are a **Field Service Engineer** looking for an opportunity to grow and develop professionally, Emerson has an exciting opportunity for you! Based in **Riverside, CA** , you will be part of a team of customer support engineers who can analyze and solve engineering problems associated with the installation, start-up, and operation of relatively complex distributed control systems, sub-systems, and/or specific control equipment at customer locations.
**This role requires extensive travel up to 75%, to include overnights and some weekends. This position offers a Hybrid Work Option when not traveling.**
**In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:**
+ Perform a variety of related functions such as: on-site instruction of customer personnel; writing and modifying maintenance procedures; quality control tests and/or product evaluation.
+ Direct efforts of customer personnel engaged in installation of control systems, sub-systems, equipment, or their routine modification/repair.
+ Provide direct engineering advisory assistance to the customer, and liaison within the company, on issues dealing with the equipment or related matters.
+ Create complete and timely reports on all activities with emphasis on defining problems encountered, services.
**Who You Are:**
You understand the importance and interdependence of internal customer relationships. You show a tremendous amount of initiative in tough situations and are exceptional at spotting and seizing opportunities and you acquire data from multiple and diverse sources when solving problems.
**For This Role, You Will Need:**
+ Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science or a similar technical educational curriculum, or relevant experience in lieu of education
+ 5+ years of related experience engaging with customers for the installation of control systems, loading application software, loading, installing and maintaining network equipment
+ Be able to travel up to 75% of the time
+ Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future
**Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:**
+ Experience programming with PLC and/or DCS software
+ Experience with Emerson Ovation software

Our compensation philosophy is simple: we pay a competitive base salary, within the local market in which we operate, and reward performance during our annual merit review process. The salary range for this role is $90k-130K annually + OT, commensurate with the skills, talent, capabilities, and experience each candidate brings to a role.
