Ride and manage any horses in your care with a focus on their well-being and overall welfare. 6.) Process and/or treat cattle in your department in accordance with established policies and procedures and under the instruction of the Vet Shack Foreman. 7.) Sort and move cattle as instructed. Pen Riders may be responsible for specific pens. 8.) Record all cattle movement, deaths and treatments in accordance with established procedures. 9.) Ensure adequate animal health product inventory for doctoring and processing, and keep monthly inventory. 10.) Communicate with Consulting Veterinarian on standard treatments, cattle health and processing regimens. 11.) Keep the working sheds clean, organized and efficient. 12.) Ensure medical clearance and withdrawal times on all cattle being shipped. 13.) Load cattle for sale and unload arriving cattle. 14.) Check all incoming cattle for health status, appropriate paperwork, headcount, etc. 15.) Coordinate sorts and movement with the office and feed crew. 16.) Do your part to promote a sense of teamwork, camaraderie, safety and an enjoyable work environment. 17.) Perform regular maintenance of fences, waterers and feeders and keep the facilities neat and orderly. 18.) When operating equipment, check oil and fluids, keep the equipment and cab clean, do regular maintenance according to established procedure, and be sure that fuel is filled at the end of the day. 19.) Be Alert! Drive and operate all equipment according to established operational and safety procedures. 20.) Drive pickup trucks, 4-wheelers and machinery with basic common sense. The Night Shift Chemical Operators are responsible for monitoring the production process to ensure the sand is properly coated based on specifications. Chemical Operators are also responsible for bagging specific products for customer pickup. Work Schedule is Monday through Thursday, 6 pm to 6 am (12 hour shifts). Essential Functions Collect process samples as directed. Clean mixers Operate computer controlled processes through a PLC Ensure proper labeling of bagged material, recovered materials, and waste streams. Unload totes and drums of raw materials from incoming trucks. Connect/disconnect and move drums/totes of raw materials. Operate an automatic bagging machine which fills/stacks 50 lb bags or 2000 lb super sacks. Operate a forklift to move/stage/store pallets of sand bags in proper locations. Operate a front end payloader to load sand into the system. Monitor process conditions and product quality based on samples and feedback from quality control to maintain the quality of the product being produced. Monitor the performance of process equipment and provide feedback on equipment issues. Perform plant maintenance as directed including assisting shift mechanic with repairs as extra set of hands. Maintain safe, neat and orderly work areas in and around the facility and perform housekeeping as directed. Commit to and support Company's Quality Policy and Objectives.
