About the Role We're looking for skilled Maintenance Technicians & Mechanics to keep our production and facility equipment running at peak performance. In this role, you'll troubleshoot, repair, and maintain mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems to ensure smooth operations and zero downtime. Industrial Millwright Maintenance Technicians are part of an integral team of quality and technical professionals who take great pride in helping ATI achieve production and quality goals and objectives. Our Millwrights are part of a highly skilled team that is critical in supporting production and ensuring equipment is operational in order to consistently meet production goals and our customers' needs. Millwrights inspect, troubleshoot, repair, replace, install, adjust and maintain all mechanical equipment in the plant and perform scheduled preventative maintenance on equipment and troubleshoot machine malfunctions, determine the problem and implement the repair. This position requires an understanding of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, power transmission and steam systems. In order to become successful, you must be able to quickly learn ATI, our products, processes and quality standards. This is a 2rd shift (3pm-11pm); however, the new hire will train on 1st shift for 6 months. Maintenance Mechanic - 2nd Shift Conducts machine setup, troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance service. Responsibilities Provides emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service. Prepares and sets up machinery for scheduled production runs. Performs mechanical skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair of packaging and production machines. Reads and interprets equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service Diagnose problems, replace, or repair parts, test, and adjust. Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilities. Perform a variety of plumbing maintenance and electrical functions. Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment in performing duties. Detect faulty operations, and defective material, and report those and any unusual situations to proper supervision. Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas. Descriptions & requirements Job Description This is a full-time experienced Maintenance Mechanic position that is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and installing pneumatic and hydraulic systems, control valves, centrifugal and positive displacement pumps. Maintenance Mechanics are also responsible for troubleshooting and repairing AC/DC electrical systems, reading schematics, and using electrical testing equipment (Volt-Ohm meter, amp meter, oscilloscope). Our experienced Maintenance Mechanics have extensive understanding of Programmable Logic Controls and contribute a unique skillset through the use of preventative maintenance systems and work order tracking. Maintenance Mechanics have the skill and flexibility to work on any equipment within the facility and to operate lathes, mills, arc and Heliarc welders for repair, and fabrication. Work Schedule 6:00am - 2:30pm Monday - Friday Essential Duties and Responsibilities Use of proper processes, procedures and OMS instructions, cycle counting procedures Proper safety procedures Daily participation and demonstrated 5-S practices Daily/Weekly/Monthly preventative maintenance duties on machines & equipment Continually open to learning and acquiring new skills by progressing through the skills matrix Specialize in either assembly or fabrication Perform regular production or assembly duties as required within the respective cell or department. Knowledge, Skills, Competencies, and Abilities A team player with excellent communication skills. Strong mechanical aptitude and solid blueprint reading skills. Ability to deal with ambiguous/undefined problems. Ability to be flexible and adjust priories to reflect changing needs or job demands. Strong attention to detail. Required Qualifications Highschool diploma or equivalent. 2 + years of experience in a Manufacturing Environment is preferred. Certification for sit-down forklift, Raymond and use of overhead crane or the willingness to obtain via training. Ability to safely lift/lower/push/pull up to 40 lbs.
