Position Summary:
The Facilities and Operations Specialist is responsible for implementing the day-to-day administrative and operations needs of the Foundation's office environment. The Foundation includes fifteen (15) staff and is developing processes and procedures to accommodate community groups wishing to use the office space for meetings and convenings. Under the supervision of and reporting to the Director of Operations & Grants Administration and in collaboration with members of the management team, this position will be responsible for all logistics related to the office and facilities, including the use of office space use by external groups, the purchase and maintenance of needed office supplies and equipment, support with staff and board events and retreats, handling of mail and phone messages, and reception duties.
Primary Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Implement the process and procedure for the use of the office space for hosting external community groups. This includes scheduling, responding to reservation inquiries, arranging for parking, creating lists of resources such as catering, ensuring access to the building, providing agreed upon supplies, ensuring functioning of meeting equipment, and arranging for clean up.
Order food and arrange for delivery and provide set up and clean up for board meetings and other work meetings as determined by leadership.
Ensure parking and directions are provided for all visitors.
Responsible for day-to-day managing of all issues arising related to the facility. This includes mail and packages, parking, phone, electricity, water, air conditioning, heating, appliances, fixtures, sound systems, monitors, televisions, furnishings, window treatments, key cards, lockers, ordering and stocking kitchen and work supplies, and facilities maintenance.
Responsible for ensuring the upkeep and maintenance of the office space including janitorial, furniture and appliance repair.
Arrange for all IT support troubleshooting and provide onsite assistance as needed. Manage vendor support for the repair, replacement and installation of AV and electronic equipment such as computer monitors, laptops, phones, video monitors, speakers and sound systems, and wifi routers.
Participate as needed and abide by all emergency preparedness planning and trainings.
Welcome guests and arrange for parking validation and parking instructions as needed.
Support with phone and email messages, forwarding to appropriate staff or respond directly if applicable.

As part of your role, you will travel within your territory in the United States to meet face-to-face with donors. Estimated travel time is 50%.

Showcasing new projects for funding

We are a home care agency that has been in business since 2007 and in need of an assessor to perform in-home assessments of elderly clients in the Los Angeles, CA region (servicing clients located within a 2 hour radius of Los Angeles, CA) California Licensed RN or LVN preferred but not required.
The assessment consists of talking to the client in person at their home - and asking a few questions about their non medical care needs (i.e. Bathing, dressing, grooming, light house cleanning, etc) and filling out a number of health care assessment documents.
The assessments take 30-60 minutes. Time spent with the veteran and travel time is paid from the person's home and back at $50/hour. Flexible schedule. Can work anytime from 8am to 8pm Monday through Sunday. Weekends only is acceptable. Great part time job for extra money on the side of your regular job. Experience with assessments required.

Summary
As a Therapist II, you will provide crisis intervention, conduct intake assessments, and deliver individual, family, and group psychotherapy to children and families with a history of mental illness and/or substance use issues. ABOUT THE ROLE
A member of Safe Place for Youth's Leadership Team, the Director of Housing will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing holistic, client-centered, and innovative housing programs, including Host Home, Roots to Grow, A Bridge Home Sunset, and the Nest Family Housing programs. They will oversee all contractual outcomes and budgetary requirements, as well as monitor programming to ensure effective and equitable resources and services for TAY. WHAT YOU'LL DO
Lead and implement organizational policies and procedures; participate in organizational and departmental decision-making
Develop, implement, and oversee all programming within the housing department, including site operations
Monitor and create policies and procedures; update annually
Oversee and ensure program compliance with all relevant standards and requirement
from contractors, partners, and funders
Oversee and manage program budgets
Implement equitable and effective methodologies for the management and oversight of housing contracts
Strategically allocate resources and services to combat racial disparities in homelessness and cultivate strong partnerships with community providers

Position Summary
The ideal candidate will report to the Tax Department Manager of Operations and collaborate closely with other tax staff, partners, and department managers.
