The Hilton North Scottsdale at Cavasson is seeking an experienced Bellman/Driver for our brand-new hotel being built to open later this year.

POSITION SUMMARY: Work closely with the Front Desk Staff, Management, and other hotel departments in providing guests assistance with luggage, transportation, valet parking, and miscellaneous needs. The Bellman is often the first and last person a guest sees while staying at the hotel. This position is critical to the success of a hotel and our commitment to service.

* Greet all guests in the lobby in a warm and professional manner, make them feel welcome and anticipate their needs before they arise.
* Recognize all returning and VIP guests and welcome them back.
* Escort all guests checking in to their accommodations following hotel procedure. Inform them about all hotel and guest room features, hotel facilities and emergency procedures.
* Assist guests with their luggage and acknowledge them by name.
* Make deliveries to guest rooms as instructed.
* Store and retrieve luggage and other objects for guests.
* Be aware of daily hotel activities, group, and VIP arrivals.
* Communicate special guest requests to the Front Office Manager/Manager on Duty.
* Ensure the lobby, bell closet and work areas as well as departmental equipment are clean and presentable at all times.
* Communicate needs to the Front Office Manager/Manager on Duty.
* Offer assistance to all guests and provide them with information requested and directions, escorting the guest whenever possible.
* Shuttle Guests on local, scheduled route.
* Park and retrieve guests' vehicles efficiently and safely.

* Assist loading and unloading of baggage from guest vehicles and store luggage.

The Marriott Westchase Hotel is looking to hire a part-time Bellman / Driver Attendant. This is a Part-Time position working evenings and the occasional weekend (average 20 hours per week).

Duties of Bellman….

  • The ability to move luggage carts weighing up to 200lbs, the ability to lift and carry boxes/luggage up to 75lbs required
  • Follow established hotel safety protocols and procedures at all times
  • Is familiar with the layout of the hotel and memorize the preferred route for escorting guests
  • Rooms the guest in accordance with hotel standards
  • Provides information to guests about the hotel facilities and services
  • Assist guests checking in or out with their baggage, answering questions, making deliveries

  • Responds to inquiries with accurate information regarding location specific features and services

  • No more than two MINOR violations in the past year (accident, speeding)
  • No license suspension or revocation in the last 3 years
  • Flexible availability (evening and weekend shifts)
  • Frequent running, standing, stooping, lifting, and climbing stairs.
  • Continually standing for long periods of time, up to an entire shift
  • Must be able to lift up to 100 lbs.
