Currently, this building houses the Mitchell County Health Department and serves as an outreach clinic for out-of-town and visiting specialists. It all began back in 1968 when Doctor Collins, Doctor Dobratz and Joe Evans, a local pharmacist, erected the building at 310 W. 8th street in Beloit, Kansas.

Following the sudden passing of Doctor Collins in 1972, the practice was joined by Doctor Douglas Drake (Family Practice).
In 1985, the hospital expanded their range of specialty services by establishing a close affiliation with the highly regarded University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics.
When founding member Doctor Dobratz retired in 1987 Doctor Craig Concannon (Internal Medicine) and Doctor Carl Fugate (Family Practice) joined the ever growing team of physicians.
In 1989, the hospital opened its first outreach primary care center.
Doctor Jim Siler (Internal Medicine) joined the team in 1996 and, along with Doctor Klenda, Doctor Concannon, Doctor Fugate and Doctor Kimple, decided to build Beloit Medical Center’s current location at 1005 N. Lincoln, Beloit, Kansas.
Upon its completion in 1997, the practice officially relocated and re-opened its doors for business.
In December 2007, the hospital opened a $35 million new health and wellness campus in Roscoe, IL called NorthPointe.
