Responsibilities
Drive Operational Excellence through daily assessment of Operation KPIs, including line availability, machine uptime, line downtime, process cycle time, production thruput, scrap rates, inventory accuracy, and finished goods quality checks.
Ensure compliance with the customer's quality standards as defined in operational Standard Work Procedures (SOPs).
Lead commissioning activities for new customer product launches on existing repacking lines and during the integration of new production lines.
Lead root cause analysis (RCA) and the corresponding corrective/preventive actions (CAPA) for process deviations, non-conforming materials, and customer complaints.
Maintain robust quality assurance programs for all material inputs, including raw materials (e.g., WIP products) and packaging components.
Ensure the facility's readiness for regulatory, customer, and 3rd party audits (e.g., SQF certification) by maintaining robust food safety & quality management programs.
Travel to Sojo sites as needed to support project implementation and cross-site process alignment.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field.
2-5 years of experience in process engineering, preferably within food & beverage or other consumer goods packaging environments.
Hands-on experience with applying Lean/Six Sigma methodologies in both manual and automated manufacturing lines.
Familiarity with root cause analysis tools (e.g., Fishbone and 5 Whys) and process improvement tools (e.g., PFMEA, DMAIC, SWOT)
Working knowledge of quality & food safety programs (e.g., SQF, FSSC22000) is preferred, but not required.
Strong analytical skills with proficiency in process mapping, time studies, and data-driven decision-making.
Ability to manage multiple projects and communicate effectively across technical and non-technical teams.

OBJECTIVES/PURPOSE
The Medical Support Specialist determines donor eligibility to donate plasma, management of donor adverse events, review of laboratory test results, donor notification of unsuitable test results. The Medical Support Specialist works under the direct supervision of the Center Manager (or Assistant Manager as applicable) for operational guidance and under the supervision of the Center Physician for medical issues. Ideally, the Medical Support Specialist will be familiar with regulations of the plasma collection industry and/or a manufacturing environment. The Medical Support
Specialist follows guidance provided by BioLife Medical Affairs and provides center level support of environmental, health and safety (EHS).
ACCOUNTABILITIES
Donor Eligibility (85%)
Determine donor eligibility accurately and in a timely manner, to include, proper management of informed consent, AIDS education and confidential self-exclusion, medical history interview and acceptance requirements, physical examination, blood testing, and reviewing Serological Protein Electrophoresis (SPE) as required.
Evaluate and manage donor reaction(s), which occurs at the facility as outlined in the SOPs. Follow applicable SOPs for medical emergencies including the execution of Center Physician's standing orders and donor transport to emergency care facilities.
Manage donor deferral; reviews test results and notify donors of unsuitable test results per applicable SOPs.
Initiation and investigation of Post Donation Information (PDI).
Refer to the Center Physician or Medical Affairs (as applicable) when in need of providing unacceptable findings to donors, problem solving, or guidance concerning medical or technical issues, including donor safety and eligibility.
Demonstrate continued competency in the performance of job responsibilities and complete periodic assessment with the Center Physician per applicable SOPs.
Assist the EHS program as required per SOPs or as requested by the EHS Manager (5%)
Conduct pre-placement evaluation of new hires to include assessment of medical history questionnaire.
Support the Hepatitis B and Seasonal Flu vaccination programs for employees as applicable.
Maintain applicable employee medical records.
Member of EHS site committee and assist in training of employees, as required.
Manage employee incidents and determine whether further evaluation is required by occupational health/ER. Refer to EHS guidance regarding employee incidents.
Administer first aid to employees as needed.
Act as Pandemic Coordinator when authorized by EHS.
Supports investigations associated with pandemic threats within local community as indicated by EHS or Medical Affairs.
May perform all required duties in the area of Medical History (including, but not limited to): (10%)
Greet donors as they enter and exit the donor floor.
Take and record donor pulse, blood pressure, and temperature measures and monitor electronic donor questionnaire system.
Perform finger stick, test sample, and record other donor measures to include hematocrit, total protein and weight.
Enter donor information into the Donor Information System (DIS).

Position Overview
As an RN Supervisor - Transfer Center, you will lead daily nursing operations, collaborate with management, and ensure compliance with healthcare standards. This leadership role focuses on patient-centered care, staff development, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily administrative and clinical activities to ensure high-quality patient care.
Develop, revise, and implement department policies aligned with organizational goals.
Ensure compliance with hospital regulations and standards, including The Joint Commission.
Supervise and mentor staff: scheduling, training, performance evaluations, and issue resolution.
Support educational initiatives, research, and process improvement projects.
Apply Lean principles to enhance patient care and operational efficiency.
Assist with annual staffing and budget planning, including capital equipment needs.
Communicate effectively with leadership, physicians, families, and other departments.
Conduct regular nursing rounds and provide direct patient care when necessary.
Maintain accurate records, inventory, and reporting databases.
Qualifications & Skills
Current RN license in Texas (or ability to obtain).
Strong knowledge of nursing standards, patient care procedures, and regulatory compliance.
Familiarity with medical terminology, medication administration, and ethical practices.
Excellent communication, leadership, and critical thinking skills.
Ability to train, evaluate, and manage staff effectively.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and electronic medical record systems.
