JOB SUMMARY: This position is primarily responsible for performing the daily administrative services tasks related to COBRA administration for participants and client groups. The Administrative Services Specialist will have extensive exposure to and contact with clients and brokers as well as individual COBRA participants.
DIRECT SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY: None.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Administering the COBRA processes, including preparation, printing of notices, forms, correspondence, etc., and recording payments received in various spreadsheets/software systems.
Monitoring, maintaining and processing correspondence and inquiries regarding COBRA, administration daily.
Provide customer service for COBRA administration, including responding to inquiries; discussing such administration issues with clients, brokers, carriers and participants.
Research questions as needed and provide prompt resolution independently or determine if upper level involvement is needed.
Create and audit Administrative Participant reports.
Prepare Administrative reports for company and clients.
At the direction of the COBRA Operations Manager, develop internal administrative procedures that relate to all aspects of the COBRA administration process; maintain, update and implement these procedures.
Audit payments and process monthly COBRA disbursements and refunds. Work closely with the Finance Division to ensure accurate processing across both departments.
Create and maintain internal enrollment reports generated by the administrative services software/programs.
Assist COBRA Operations Manager with renewals and new group set up.
Assist groups and brokers with counting of employees (COBRA Counts) to determine subjectivity to COBRA.
Complete special projects as assigned by the Administrative Services Director.

The Company is open to considering candidates in numerous locations, including Philadelphia (PA), Princeton (NJ), Chicago (IL), Atlanta (GA), and Hartford (CT). The salary range posted below reflects market variations across various locations. The offer will be adjusted per geography.
The base salary range anticipated for this position is $99,700-$152,800, plus opportunity for company bonus based upon a percentage of eligible pay. In addition, the company makes available a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, 401k match, retirement savings plan, paid holidays and paid time off (PTO).
The salary estimate is adjusted to reflect the varying market conditions across different locations, with the with the higher end being more aligned with the Princeton, NJ job market. Factors that may be used to determine your actual salary include your specific skills, how many years of experience you have and comparison to other employees already in this role. Most candidates will start in the bottom half of the range.

The Underwriting Manager is responsible for management of the US based underwriting team who, in conjunction with the rest of the Managed Underwriting team located in the UK, are responsible for the management and oversight of the delegated portfolio. Responsibilities
Underwriting & Portfolio Management
Work with the CUO and Head of Delegated Underwriting to support the US based team towards successful execution of our underwriting strategy and plan, in accordance with applicable underwriting authority levels, underwriting guidelines, internal directives, and client strategies.
Manage and steer underwriting results for the applicable segments of the portfolio, utilizing MI and KPIs to critically analyze and evaluate the business - including review of production, loss experience, exposure, rate adequacy, and pricing discipline.

Manage CAT budget allocations and related economic analysis for the applicable segments of the portfolio, including premium projections and rate management against cost of capital.

Collaborate with and actively participate on any cross-functional committees across Munich Re Specialty - North America.
Coverholder & Client Management
Manage coverholder oversight, including relationship management, operational reviews, audits, and due diligence.

Ensure coverholders adhere to underwriting standards, regulatory requirements, and program guidelines.

Qualifications
Successful candidates will possess the following experience/skills/qualifications:
Extensive experience in Property/Casualty underwriting or underwriting management, preferably with an insurance carrier or wholesale broker.
Strong background in Property, Personal Lines, and small Commercial Casualty business.
Surplus Lines experience required; knowledge of WSIA members preferred.
Strong competency in insurance coverage forms-ISO required; Lloyd's and manuscript forms would be beneficial.
Experience reviewing and auditing underwriting files and managing staff who perform these functions.

The Manager, IT Category Management, is responsible for directing all sourcing and vendor contracting activities within the assigned categories. This role supervises staff engaged in the sourcing process for high-value and complex goods, services, or projects and initiatives. The incumbent focuses on reducing organizational costs by implementing effective sourcing strategies, tools, and processes. Coordination with third-party vendors, business owners, and the legal team is essential for the preparation, analysis, and negotiation of vendor contracts. Additionally, this position supports business owners across all functional areas in technology vendor selection and ensures that vendor obligations are documented in alignment with business requirements.
What You'll Do
Manage staff responsible for the development and execution of sourcing strategies in one or more technology categories.
Direct and train staff in conducting sourcing events, including development of project work plan, category profile, category strategy, minimum requirements and evaluation criteria, solicitation
Guide staff in the development and implementation assorted bid documents and requests (i.e. RFP, RFI, RFQ); and manage status reporting and performance metrics of sourcing and category management activities.
Understand, analyze and forecast complex market and industry dynamics and share subject matter expertise and industry knowledge within the established portfolio of products and services
Partner with stakeholders to develop business and sourcing strategy and source products and services using proven tools, processes, and analytics to drive and achieve business results.
Coordinate the evaluation and analyses of sourcing results from a total cost of ownership perspective, and provide optimization recommendations
Lead cross-functional teams responsible for complex vendor negotiations, including those that require specialized subject matter expertise, nonstandard risk mitigation solutions, and coordination of multiple arrangements.
Proactively establish and foster successful, positive working relationships with vendor personnel. Drive vendor engagement through formal and informal transactions.
Manage contract management function and facilitate effective collaboration with Corporate Compliance, Legal, Audit and Risk Management and other internal stakeholders for compliance activities to ensure regulatory conditions are met.
Develop new procedures, training, initiatives, specifications and recommendations for process or policy changes and improvements, as appropriate.
What You Bring
Bachelor's degree or advanced degree (where required)
8+ years of experience in related field.
In lieu of degree, 10+ years of experience in related field.

The Senior Business Intelligence Analyst will be responsible for supporting the data, reporting, and analytical needs across the entire Munich Re Specialty North America (MRSNA) Claims portfolio. The role will involve analyzing and synthesizing claims data from multiple sources, producing high quality insights that demonstrate a full narrative, and communicating to key stakeholders including executives and senior leadership across the MRSNA organization. They will be fully responsible for the development of dashboards, easily digestible data visualizations, and other reports to support a data driven claims operation.
Responsibilities
In this position you will:
Collaborate with various departments within MRSNA to independently respond to requests and provide business insights from claims data by producing accurate and meaningful dashboards / reports
Provide in-depth analysis and detailed insights to support planning, forecasting, severity management, capacity and workload management
Develop deep understanding of claims severity and frequency trends, drivers, and components while contributing to multiple complex analyses
Create new visualizations or reinvent existing Claims reports and dashboards by pulling data from different data warehouses at MRSNA (Duck Creek, ISyCL, IRDW, Snowflake, FSRI, Universal, Bridge)
Create process and governance documentation including data dictionaries to ensure operational continuity, assist with other data analysis activities (data cleaning, querying, visualization, etc.)
Support the quarterly Outlier review process for MR Group reporting and financial recommendations
Qualifications
Successful candidates will possess the following experience/skills/qualifications:
BA/BS required, MS preferred in Data Science, Business Analysis, Information Technology or equivalent combination of education and employment
8+ years of experience in P&C insurance industry with solid understanding of P&C Insurance data
8+ years as a technical data analyst, with experience in advanced SQL and proficient in querying data using MS SQL Server
Demonstrated experience with data visualization tools such Power BI, Advanced SQL, Excel, PowerPoint Skills (screening will be conducted to assess knowledge of SQL, Power BI and Excel)
Proven track record of collaboration and working effectively with a multi-functional team and throughout the organization; foster an environment of shared responsibility and accountability
Experience in providing data driven consultation and business communication to executive leadership
Strong knowledge of analyzing datasets using Excel
Excellent analytical, problem solving and organizational skill and mindset
Proactive, self-motivated and detail oriented

The Company is open to considering candidates in numerous locations, including Chicago (IL), New York City (NYC), Philadelphia (PA), Hartford (CT), and Princeton (NJ). The salary range posted below reflects market variations across various locations. The offer will be adjusted per geography.
The base salary range anticipated for this position is $99,700-$166,100, plus opportunity for company bonus based upon a percentage of eligible pay. In addition, the company makes available a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, 401k match, retirement savings plan, paid holidays and paid time off (PTO).
The salary estimate is adjusted to reflect the varying market conditions across different locations, with the with the higher end being more aligned with the NYC job market. Factors that may be used to determine your actual salary include your specific skills, how many years of experience you have and comparison to other employees already in this role. Most candidates will start in the bottom half of the range.
