Responsibilities Performs general custodial tasks including, but not limited to, removing trash, washing windows /walls, moving furniture and supplies and fill-in housekeeping duties if needed. Performs floor care such as cleaning, buffing, stripping, waxing, and carpet cleaning throughout the facility. Assists with building maintenance and construction work as needed on all surfaces, interior or exterior of facility. Assists with grounds maintenance, including but not limited to lawn care, snow removal. Assists with general repairs to facility and residents' equipment. Operates numerous hand and power tools, and may be required to use various machines, such as floor care, grounds-keeping, and maintenance equipment safely. Perform routine maintenance duties to complete all service requests for repair and maintenance of all grounds, buildings, apartment homes, and equipment in a timely and cost-efficient manner. Manage and oversee maintenance and housekeeping staff. Implement and document preventative maintenance programs for facility and equipment. Maintain grounds including outside building repair and lawn maintenance in cooperation with the landscaping contractor and garbage removal services. This position requires frequent travel, approximately 65 - 75%. Travel for an extended period may be required, local or overnight. Typically, travel is planned; however, there may be times there is an unplanned, immediate need, for local and/or overnight travel. Ability to stay overnight in a destination for an extended period is required, possibly for several weeks at a time. Maintains IV room in a clean, organized manner and ensures supplies are restocked and ordered as needed. Fills automated dispensing cabinets correctly by performing all safety checks (barcode scans and visual inspection) during restock process, clears return bins on a daily basis, and fills out restock reports with 99.8% accuracy. Follows and documents all cleaning procedures for the Ante and Clean Rooms on a daily basis. Completes the monthly clean before the last day of each month.
