PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Prepares and facilitates the timely processing of staff data while maintaining strict confidentiality Provides general HRIS support including, but not limited to, data entry, data audits, and assisting with various projects Assists with group data updates, exports, imports, clean-ups, and research/reports on any data discrepancies Documents processes and makes recommendations for improvement Maintains proficiency in data entry/processing of HR data changes following applicable processes to include, but not limited to, employment status changes, new hires, employee terminations, rate changes, transfers and demographic changes Reports system issues and potential errors in a timely manner May perform daily, weekly and monthly data audits on electronic HR records to verify accuracy of the data and to identify potential issues Assists with the review, testing, and implementation of HR system upgrades or bundles Assists in researching and analyzing HR related compliance issues Audits for compliance with HR personnel record policies, I-9, E-Verify, document retention, labor law postings, and adherence with applicable federal and state laws, regulations and JCAHO standards Partner with IT and HR teams to optimize HRIS functionality and resolve technical issues Verifies compliance requirements per JD and Inputs compliance related data into Person Profile for each new hire Coordinates with Talent Associates to obtain any missing compliance requirements Organizes, maintains, and audits employee files, ensuring accuracy and completeness Audits I-9 documentation for accuracy and completeness Provides support for other members of the HR team as assigned Performs other work-related duties as assigned or requested. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/TRAINING: Associates degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field or equivalent experience 2+ years of experience in HR compliance, HRIS, or related role Knowledge of, and practical experience with, Oracle/PeopleSoft is highly desirable Computer proficiency in MS Office Suite including the ability to manipulate data in Excel Strong attention to detail and organization skills Strong customer service skills/experience Ability to use and learn basic and intermediate-level systems Ability to create/generate reports in various formats Understanding of terms and concepts relevant to job practices Ability to analyze and synthesize information, and to present results and recommendations in a clear and concise manner Must be able to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
