    Job Description Warehouse Attendant/Back-up Driver. JOB SUMMARY: The warehouse associate receives shipments and restocks orders, keeps track of inventory, prepares, and loads order for customers, and maintains the cleanliness and organization of the warehouse space. Support drivers making timely delivery of good to customers on specific route, review orders prior to delivery, loading and unloading truck and providing exceptional customer service our client base as needed. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Pull and prepare orders for shipment, delivering the proper paperwork, packaging, and quantity for each order to the required destination in shipping and receiving. Perform data entry, merchandise scan-ins, and other required quality assurance steps that confirm the contents of each order while tracking inventory for the company. Receive, verify, stage, and stock incoming material, either independently or as part of a team depending on order size and daily staffing needs. Assist with counter sales and delivery as appropriate and as needed. Ensure the warehouse area is cleaned, organized, and that all safety procedures are being always followed by yourself and your teammates. Inspect and maintain warehouse equipment including pallet jacks, floor lifts, and basic tools. Report any malfunctions, insufficiencies, or necessary repairs through the relevant channels. Provide dependable, shift-long coverage of the warehouse facilities to ensure order fulfillment operates as efficiently as possible for the duration of the warehouse associate's shift. Knowledge of HVAC, preferred, but not mandatory Assists sales and marketing is addressing customer complaints with regards to shipment and deliveries. Ability to interact effectively with warehouse and accounting personnel as required. Clear driving record and DOT Medical Certification. Assist Warehouse Associate(s) in the operation of the distribution center Load and unload trucks and/or trailers to maximize space and ensure safety without damage to products. Pull orders, stocking, data entry, verifying products being shipped against shipping orders. Conduct inspections of vehicle before and after delivering goods. Keeps equipment clean and assures regular maintenance and inspections are performed in a timely manner. Complies with DOT, State and Local Laws, as well as Company Policies Accurately completes and maintains all records as required by the DOT and Company Policy Performs other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS: Demonstrates strong customer service skills for handling customers and customer complaints Computer proficiency sufficient to record receipt and stocking of merchandise and removal of inventory to fill requisitions and orders. Works well in a team environment Some prior warehouse and logistics experience Materials handling certifications relevant to the products in stock Experience with warehouse equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and computer-based inventory systems Education and Experience High School Diploma or higher Forklift certified with safe operation record or willingness and capability to obtain certification Familiarity with Inventory Management systems or other inventory managements systems Familiarity with HVAC Systems Valid driver's license with clean driving record

Operates company owned or leased bulk or packaged trucks over 20 tons to facilitate shipping and receiving operations. Perform tasks safely and in a manner consistent with Nexeo Plastics procedures. Communicates effectively to internal team members and external customers. Must be medically certified to operate a commercial motor vehicle per 49 CFR 390.5, except as provided in 391.67. Must be able to safely work with load securing devices. RESPONSIBILITIES * Operate company owned and leased trucks over 20 tons to facilitate shipping and receiving operations of bulk or packaged goods. * Perform required pre-trip, during and post-trip vehicle inspections and provide required reports. * Monitor hours of service accurately. * Provide outstanding customer service during the delivery and pick up operations. * Assist customers with questions or problems attend to customer needs. * Ensure delivered goods correspond to products identified on the bill of lading. * Maintain all required certifications required by the D.O.T, OSHA and company safety programs. * Maintain and protect all company property entrusted to you in excellent condition. * During loading and unloading process check weights of shipment and monitor distribution weight to legal road limits. * Ensures material is properly and safely loaded and unloaded from vehicle for either bulk or packaged delivery. * Check material for damage and quantity discrepancies. * Engage appropriate Nexeo Plastics team member if any discrepancies exist. * Review paperwork to ensure transport of material is authorized and in compliance. * Perform any other tasks assigned to support and improve the overall team operations. * Attend and participate in training meetings. * Perform duties and tasks in a manner consistent with the business responsibilities of a Nexeo Plastics employee. * Operate forklift to pick material, store and stage material as needed. * Bulk off load material from either bulk tank trucks or rail cars using a forklift or a pallet jack or by moving and connecting 50 lb. hoses between the storage vehicle and piping system in load rack as needed. EDUCATION * High School Diploma or GED * Possess the proper CDL with all applicable endorsements and clean driving record EXPERIENCE * Experience loading and unloading shipments for delivery * Forklift experience * Strong oral and written communication skills Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interact with clients in a professional manner SKILLS Strength: Must be able to lift, pull or push 55 lbs. Must be able to sit and operate a motor vehicle for prolonged periods of time. (e.g., bagged material on pallet jack). Climbing or Balancing: Must frequently be able to ascend and descend ladder to vent bulk tanker, or access bulk loading area. Walking / Running / Stooping / Kneeling / Crouching / Crawling: Must frequently be able to kneel or crouch to inspect vehicle. Reaching / Handling / Fingering and or Feeling: Frequently must be able to position and connect hoses and detect secure and proper fittings for bulk loading and unloading Talking and or Hearing: Communicate information essential to accurate receipt and shipment of material to customers. Expresses ideas clearly and in a professional manner. Hear warning facility or warning signals to maintain safe clearing from moving vehicles (e.g., backing). Seeing: Identify road signage and assess road conditions and discern implication for safe operation of vehicle. See and read documents and interpret instructions. Ability to see warning signals. Other Demands: Must be able to safely operate a commercial motor vehicle as defined by 49 CFR 391.41 (Physical qualifications for drivers) Customary Mental Functions: Must be able to read, write, speak and understand and apply instructions in the English language. Must be able to understand and fully comply with all laws governing the trucking and warehousing industry. Must be able to perform basic mathematical calculations related to container quantities, etc.) Equipment Used (What / How Often): Information System: PeopleNet, Electronic Log System (ELD) Vehicle Types: Tractor trailer, tanker, straight truck, hybrid Hoses: 3-inch hoses with aluminum fittings.
