Job Description As a Delivery Driver/ Warehouse Associate you will be responsible for loading and delivering HVAC units and supplies using a large box truck. Other general duties involve, assisting in receiving merchandise, pulling, packing and loading merchandise, and maintaining a clean warehouse. Position responsibilities include: Perform warehouse-related duties such as receiving and storage of goods, preparing orders for shipment by accurately picking items from shelves, operating and maintaining forklift and other equipment, loading/unloading product from trucks, and delivering orders to customers business. Loading and delivering HVAC units and supplies using a large box truck. Serves customers by understanding and resolving or forwarding complaints, adjusting orders. Maintains a clean and organized facility and work areas. Maintain safe operation and clean appearance by complying with company policies, procedures and standards. Drives company truck in safe, responsible, manner and complies with DOT requirements. Prepares logs and trip sheets as required. Maintains vehicle in safe operating and orderly condition. Updates job knowledge by participating in training opportunities. Participates in a team atmosphere. Skills/Qualifications: Valid drivers license with proper class, if applicable. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Physical activity requiring reaching, bending, kneeling, stooping, pulling, carrying, balancing, lifting, finger dexterity, repetitive motions, talking and hearing. Must be able to safely operate forklift. Must have a proven safe driving record. Heating and Air Conditioning knowledge desired, but not required.
