The Historical Society of Bensalem Township was founded and incorporated in 1977 as a 501(c)(3) Non-Profit Organization.
The latest book expands upon historical events going back as far as Bensalem’s founding with newly discovered information and includes coverage of the more recent past from 1984 to the present.
Upon opening its doors on August 24, 1998, School Lane enrolled a student body of 450 in grades K-6.
2003 SLCS became one of the state’s first charter schools to receive a charter renewal
Early in 2008, SLCS broke ground for a two story addition to the Bristol Pike campus.
In 2010, School Lane began renovations to the former Cornwell's Skating Center located next door at 2350 Bristol Pike.
