Product Testers are wanted to work from home nationwide in the US to fulfill upcoming contracts with national and international companies. We guarantee 15-25 hours per week with an hourly pay of between $25/hr. and $45/hr., depending on the In-Home Usage Test project. No experience required.
There is no payment required in order to apply or to work as an In-Home Usage Tester. You don't have to buy products or pay for shipping, everything is paid by our company. In-Home Usage Testers are considered independent contractors, we pay weekly every Wednesday by direct deposit or by cheque.
Online Consumer Panels America is a consulting firm that specializes in product testing and product development work. We design and conduct In-Home Usage Testing (IHUT) locally and nationally to provide actual user feedback in real-time to companies and market research firms to evaluate products to ensure proper product certification and greater market access.
It is important to note that during your application process, reputable market research companies will determine your demographics and consumer profile to establish what products would be suitable for you to test. Market research companies that partner with us will use questionnaires to identify and target certain types of consumers, to ensure that the right participants are engaged and to achieve the representative sample needed.
Participation in these product testing and consumer panels is always free, secure and private. In-Home Usage Testing is a quick, easy and fun way to make extra cash by telling big brands what you think about their upcoming products and services in the American market.
Main Duties:
Properly document In-Home Usage Tests as instructed in the In-Home Usage Test Daily Schedule (screenshots, audio recordings, videos, product journal entries, etc.)
Take care of the product being tested and use it responsibly
Read and strictly follow the In-Home Usage Test Daily Schedule provided with each product testing project (may include tasks such as unpacking, reading instructions, journal entries, online or mobile feedback, usage of product for a certain amount of time, writing reviews, taking pictures, etc.)
Some In-Home Usage Tests projects may require participants to use MFour's Mobile In-Home Use Test Technology (cutting-edge smartphone technology to capture Point-of-Emotion insights to gain unparalleled depth of responses)
There are times when the product being tested may be discussed in a private chat room that is opened by a market research firm
Write reviews as requested in the In-Home Usage Test Daily Schedule for each project

About the Job:
The position will be responsible for operating a harbor tug boat and safely transporting (towing) aggregate barges. The position will have day to day supervisory responsibilities for any deckhand(s) assigned to work on the harbor boat. Responsibility for the safe and efficient day to day operation of the harbor vessel and crew. The position may work up to a twelve hour shifts on the harbor boat. The position does not require overnight stays on the vessel but working on multiple vessels may be required. What You'll Do:
Essential Functions:
* Train all new and current crew members.
* Enforce safety rules, company policies and procedures.
* Maintain compliance with all laws and regulations related to operation of the vessel in inland waters to include all U.S.C.G and Environmental rules and regulations.
* Maintain vessel safety.
* Maintain records and reports as required.
* Must be able to work required overtime and flexible work schedule.
* Must be able to speak, read, and have a working knowledge of the English language.
* Will work outdoors and exposed to varying and/or extreme weather conditions (i.e., heat, wet, cold, etc).
* May work in high and/or precarious places or cramped work space that requires getting into awkward positions.
* Must be able to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods of time; grip, climb, reach, shovel, squat, crawl, or pull, push, as well as, bend and lift.
Other responsibilities that may be required:
* Ensure that boat is stocked with supplies.
* Maintain vessel safety including navigational equipment, fire suppression, hull integrity, repair scheduling, safety training and fire drills.
Interact with governmental agencies.

* Valid United States Coast Guard issued license with radar endorsement preferred.

* Valid Driver's License preferred.
Experience:
* Must be proven proficient either by previous experience or by the successful completion of the in-house training program.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
* Must have the ability to manage the vessel and crew in regard to upkeep and safety.
* Comprehend essential information related to: spill containment and cleanup, MSDS sheets and emergency action information, and safety meeting.
