It also provides international moving services, including international move preparation, schedule a consultation and survey, documentation, safety considerations, packing and loading, customs clearance, and delivering and unpacking; warehousing and asset management services, such as cross-docking, order fulfillment, assembly, order picking/packing, labeling, customized freight transportation and other distribution, and office moving services; and distribution services comprising dedicated delivery, deluxing of products, warehouse receipt/delivery, returns and warehousing/inventory, customized interstate freight transportation, in-home delivery, and project management services, as well as delivery/installation/placement of furniture, fixtures, operating supplies, and equipment merchandise. The company was formerly known as Berger Transfer, Inc. and changed its name to Berger Transfer & Storage, Inc. in February 1949. Berger Transfer & Storage, Inc. was founded in 1910 and is headquartered in Saint Paul, Minnesota with service locations in Georgia, Texas, North Carolina, Illinois, Ohio, Nevada, California, Kentucky, Minnesota, Arizona, and Florida.
