Berkeley Unified School District BASIC FUNCTION: Under general supervision, drive a school bus to transport students safely and efficiently to an assigned location on a designated route; perform daily pre-trip safety inspections and assist in general cleaning of school buses REPRESENTATIVE DUTIES: ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
* Drive a school bus on designated routes; pick up and discharge students in accordance with time schedules; observe legal and defensive driving practices; assure compliance with applicable traffic and student transportation laws, codes and regulations; assure only registered students board and exit at assigned bus stops unless otherwise approved by school district or parents
* Maintain order and discipline among passengers on the bus and while waiting at bus stops in accordance with policies related to disciplining students; communicate effectively with school staff and parents regarding student behavior as needed; prepare behavior/conduct reports to document incidents and negative behaviors of students
* Perform required daily safety inspections of buses inspect the interior and exterior of buses according to California Highway Patrol pre-trip regulations to assure safe operational condition; report mechanical malfunctions or other problems as required
* Determine appropriate action in emergency situations according to established guidelines; administer first aid to passengers as needed
* Maintain bus in a clean and safe operating condition which includes sweeping passenger areas; cleaning windshields, mirrors, dashboard, and driver compartment
* Transport students, and designated adults on school routes or school related activity trips; adhere to scheduled departure and arrival times as assigned; prepare related logs and reports
Maintain records of vehicle condition, incidents/accidents, route times and mileage; conduct student counts and prepare related records
* Assist students as needed in boarding, buckling, and loading, securing and unloading students in wheelchairs as assigned; operate a wheelchair lift as assigned
* Utilize two-way radios for bus to bus and bus to base communications
* Communicate with Transportation Operations Staff and Maintenance Shop on a daily basis regarding safety concerns, safety of school bus stops and the mechanical condition of the buses
* Be available to respond to emergency or natural disaster situations when there is an urgent need to transport students, designated adults, victims, or others as needed
OTHER DUTIES: Perform related duties as assigned KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES: KNOWLEDGE OF: Provisions of the California Motor Vehicle Code, California Highway Patrol Regulations, and Education Code applicable to the operation of vehicles in the transportation of students California Vehicle Code and local traffic ordinances District policies and practices regarding pupil transportation Safe and defensive driving practices Proper operations of school buses Applicable traffic and student transportation laws, codes and regulations Basic first aid procedures Basic record-keeping techniques Interpersonal skills using tact, patience and courtesy Health and safety regulations Oral and written communication skills as related to the position ABILITY TO: Drive a school bus safely and efficiently Communicate about mechanical issues and defects verbally and in writing Perform daily pre-trip safety inspections; and assist in general cleaning of school buses. Learn and apply District policies and procedures related to student discipline on buses Maintain a safe level of discipline among passengers Observe legal and defensive driving practices Learn and follow designated routes Learn the functionality and tolerance of the dual air braking system Learn the proper use of the electronically controlled transmissions installed in the fleet Maintain bus in a clean and orderly condition Administer first aid Maintain routine records as related to the position Understand and follow oral and written directions Communicate effectively with others Adhere to schedules and assigned time lines, except under extenuating circumstances Operate a two-way radio Maintain a clean driving record Maintain the safety and security of assigned students and all passengers EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Any combination equivalent to: graduation from high school and sufficient training and experience to demonstrate the knowledge and abilities listed above LICENSES, CERTIFICATES AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Valid and current California Class A or B Commercial Driver License with appropriate passenger, school bus and air brake endorsements Valid California Special Driver Certificate issued by the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) for school bus drivers Valid Medical Examiner's Certificate Valid First Aid and CPR Certificate (as required) issued by an authorized agency Department of Justice fingerprint clearance through the California Highway Patrol Good DMV driving record and ability to maintain insurability under the District's vehicle insurance policy Incumbents in this classification are subject to federal drug and alcohol testing requirements WORKING CONDITIONS: ENVIRONMENT: School bus and outdoor environment Seasonal heat and cold or adverse weather conditions Evening or variable hours Exposure to fumes, dust, odors, oil/grease and gases Driving a vehicle to conduct work PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Sitting for extended periods of time while operating buses Hearing and speaking to exchange information Reaching, pulling and pushing to open bus doors Bending at the waist, kneeling or crouching to inspect buses Seeing to monitor passengers and operate a vehicle Perform work which involves the frequent lifting, pushing and/or pulling of objects weighing up to 50 pounds, and occasionally and with assistance up to 100 pounds Pushing or pulling wheelchairs Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate school bus control panel HAZARDS: Traffic hazards Exposure to seasonal heat and cold or adverse weather conditions Exposure to fumes, dust, odors, oil/grease and gases Exposure to blood borne pathogens and infectious diseases Abusive, irate or violent students, parents or general public

Clean all guest rooms to align with brand standards and ensure guest satisfaction with all room amenities.

Job Description
The Marketing Manager drives the brand voice and guest-facing presence of Fairmont Sonoma Mission Inn & Spa. This role is responsible for creating and executing on-property activations, managing social media, supporting B2B sales tools, and overseeing the development of marketing collateral. In collaboration with the Director of Sales & Marketing, Director of Public Relations, Director of Revenue, and Senior Marketing Manager, this position helps ensure that the resort maintains top-of-mind awareness for leisure and group travelers visiting Sonoma's wine country.
Key Responsibilities:
Brand Marketing & Activations
Plan and implement seasonal guest-facing activations, local partnerships, and on-property promotions across F&B, Spa, and Resort operations
Develop branded print and digital collateral including menus, flyers, signage, welcome cards, and in-room materials
Update digital signage, reader boards, and other on-site messaging platforms to reflect current offerings and events
Social Media Management
Manage the content calendar and daily postings for Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok
Curate on-brand, engaging content highlighting the resort experience, events, and local culture
Coordinate influencer stays and social collaborations in partnership with the PR team
Sales & Group Marketing Support
Create and maintain proposal templates, sales presentations, site visit materials, and group fact sheets
Coordinate updates to group-facing platforms including Cvent, WeddingWire, and Consortia listings
Support Sales in the execution of B2B activations, tradeshows, and client events with creative tools
Digital Marketing Support
Collaborate with the Senior Marketing Manager on the execution of hotel-wide campaigns, ensuring alignment across on-property and digital platforms
Assist with publishing and optimizing listings on third-party platforms (Yelp, Sonoma County Tourism, wedding sites)
Prepare monthly email newsletters to support seasonal promotions and local events; track engagement results and feedback
Website Content Coordination
Partner with the Senior Marketing Manager to keep brand.com and the hotel microsite updated with relevant offers, packages, and imagery
Support content audits and visual storytelling efforts by ensuring images and messaging reflect current priorities
Ensure all Spa, F&B, and event content is up to date across digital platforms like OpenTable, Yelp, and Google
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Coordinate closely with the Senior Marketing Manager to align content needs, promotion schedules, and guest messaging
Work collaboratively with PR and Revenue teams to support high-visibility campaigns and media-driven activations
Participate in weekly strategy meetings and on-property walkthroughs to maintain brand consistency across all guest touchpoints
Qualifications
Qualifications:
2-4 years of experience in hospitality marketing, brand communications, or lifestyle content creation
Proficient in social media management and creative content tools (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite preferred)
Strong visual sensibility and understanding of hospitality guest touchpoints
Exceptional organizational skills and comfort with cross-departmental coordination
Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment
Familiarity with Fairmont and Accor branding standards is preferred

Ensure storeroom requisitions are accurate and delivered in a timely manner.
Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of all work areas, utensils, and equipment.
Have full knowledge of all banquet menu items.

What you will be doing:
Reporting to the Executive Steward, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
Consistently offer professional, friendly and proactive guest service while supporting fellow Colleagues
Operate an industrial dishwasher
Ensure the kitchen Colleagues have the dishes/silverware required and guests have clean dishes
Sort, stack dishes, and load/unload dishwasher
Sort, stack and store all cleaned items in an organized and safe manner
Ensure all breakages and chipped items are removed from circulation and inventoried
Ensure floors are dry and clean at all times
Follow department policies, procedures and service standards
Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Other duties as assigned
Hourly Rate: $34.28 USD Gross per hour

BANQUET MANAGER - Fairmont Sonoma Mission Inn & Spa (Hotel) To assist the Banquet Director in insuring the set-up of and maintaining the cleanliness of the banquet rooms used for banquet functions. The banquet manager must be flexible with the type of work that is needed to be done as well as hours worked including, but not limited to, mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays. What you will be doing: Building and maintaining extraordinary Guest Service Standards
Outgoing and friendly personality (good guest and associate interpersonal skills), working knowledge of food and beverage, working knowledge of Catered events, on and off property.
Maintain close guest contact and banquet staff contact.
Able to clearly communicate verbally and in writing with Banquet staff, kitchen staff and other hotel departments.
Able to make management decisions in the best interest of the hotel and the guest.
Able to review and maintain high quality of set-up, service and follow-up for Banquet events.
Able to accurately tally beverage consumption sheets in a timely manner.
Able to accurately and efficiently process Banquet checks (post, client signatures, close and process).
Able to own and follow up on requests from clients and staff.
Able to abide by Banquet and SMI service standards.
Able to direct multiple events at the same time.
Able to make management decisions.
Able to lead Banquet Servers, Housemen and kitchen personnel in teamwork.

What you will be doing: Reporting to the Director, Operations, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
Develop and lead the strategic vision of the Fairmont Spa, ensuring all wellness experiences reflect Fairmont brand standards and the unique positioning of the hotel
Oversee day-to-day operations of the Spa, Retail, Fitness, and Club 1927 Membership, maintaining a strong daily presence in all wellness areas, engaging with guests and colleagues to ensure service excellence and addressing any immediate operational needs
Lead by example by being actively involved in daily operations to support peak periods, coaching in real-time, and ensuring every guest touchpoint aligns with service excellence.

Partner with Sales & Marketing to design and implement promotions, events, and seasonal activations aligned with wellness objectives and revenue targets

Analyze market trends, guest feedback, and competitive offerings to position the hotel as a leader in luxury wellness

Qualifications
