Tony R. Thene, was appointed as a Director and President and Chief Executive Officer of Carpenter effective July 1, 2015. He joined Carpenter in January 2013 and served as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. He was appointed Group Chief Financial Officer of Alcoa’s Global Rolled Products and Hard Alloy Extrusions Group in 2004, and in 2005, he became Alcoa’s Director of Investor Relations. Mr. Thene earned his undergraduate degree in Accounting from Indiana State University and his MBA from Case Western Reserve University, Cleveland, Ohio. He is also a Certified Public Accountant and serves as a member of the Board’s Science and Technology Committee.
