Key Accountabilities:
Prospecting: Identify, secure, and develop new customers to build and grow a book of business via the consultative selling of solutions. Develop accurate proposals and close deals by asking customers for the business
Business Retention: Maintain existing business through the utilization of Berlin's sales tools and resources
Account Development (Share of Wallet): Develop existing customer base; maximize sales and profitability through new and existing product offerings
Project Management: Collaborate effectively with Berlin Packaging's value-added sales resources and service divisions including Sourcing, Studio 111, and Custom Tooling to complete complex sales transactions
Develop effective working relationships, become a sustaining resource for the customer, and ensure contractual terms and obligations are established and met
Establish effective supplier relationships and product knowledge
Utilize Salesforce, marketing tools, and other systems and tools effectively to win business
Responsible for Customer Thrill
Support branch metrics

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
Bachelor's degree in a business-related discipline strongly preferred or equivalent experience required
3+ years of successful consultative B2B (business-to-business) sales and prospecting experience involving complex project management and relationship-based sales transactions that resulted in revenue growth
Highly focused on customer needs with a merchant mentality and strong attention to detail
Strong business and financial acumen with a thirst for continuous knowledge and growth
Understands and can articulate the Berlin Packaging's value proposition, products, services, customers, and suppliers
Is able to effectively partner with internal teams and use sales tools to develop new accounts and retain existing business in order to achieve financial goals
Strong interpersonal and communication skills including written, verbal, active listening, and confident presentation skills

About the role - CDL Class B Driver (Bloomsburg, PA)
We are excited to announce an opportunity at Orica for a CDL Class B Driver within our Orica USA Commercial team.
This role will be responsible for driving and operating Orica's bulk trucks (Mobile Manufacturing Units) and installing blasting products for our customers at local construction sites, mines, and quarries as well as being accountable for the upkeep and maintenance of the equipment.
This is a hybrid role that consists of approximately 40% driving and 60% physical work related to the installation of blasting products. Responsibilities include loading products, driving a Class B CDL truck, pulling hoses, operating manufacturing units control systems, and climbing on and off the bulk truck in various weather conditions.
Additionally, this role will operate equipment to provide blasting products while assisting in delivering a high-quality service of bulk explosives to customers. We prioritize safety and strive to ensure that all operations are conducted in a safe and environmentally responsible manner at all times.
Work schedule
Monday thru Friday
Local driving (2-3 hours)
Early morning starts (2:30 AM - 3:30 AM)
Approximately 10-12 hours per day

What you will be doing
This is a hybrid role that consists of 40% driving and 60% physical work
Pre-trip and post-trip inspection of vehicles, including checking and filling fluid levels
Ability to safely hook up and unhook trailers
Drives emulsion tanker trucks and box trucks
Ensure raw materials and dangerous goods are used, handled, and stored according to requirements
Ensure minimum damage to the environment through waste minimization and control
Report all unusual incidents and accidents immediately
Participate in daily toolbox talks and monthly safety meetings
What you will bring

Perform line clearances on completed production lines, cleaning entire material system.

REQUIRED FOR THE SPECIAL ACCOUNTS REPRESENTATIVE
High School diploma required; Two- or four-year undergraduate degree in business preferred.
Minimum of 2-4 years of customer account management. Prefer experience in a manufacturing setting.
Knowledge of product use/application, of VAPs, and of customer system(s)/EDI.
Understand differences of available vs. protected material, evaluate reserved material to satisfy immediate needs & customer requirements through replenishment review, linkage to SA05 and explain and apply the different types of heats and size of each heat lot, capabilities of melt shops.
Understanding of processes required to service accounts and reason/need for them.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); database use and information retrieval; mainframe applications.

About the Role:
As an Intermodal Equipment Operator (also known as a Terminal Operator), you'll play a critical role in the safe and efficient movement of shipping containers within our intermodal yard. You'll operate specialized equipment-such as hostlers, cranes, top loaders, and side loaders-to load, unload, and relocate containers as part of our daily logistics operations. Your work ensures containers are handled accurately and safely, keeping freight moving on time.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate heavy equipment to load and unload shipping containers from railcars and trucks.
Drive hostlers to position containers and chassis within the yard.
Use top loaders, side loaders, and/or cranes to stack, move, and organize containers.
