The Leasing Consultant reports directly to the Community Manager. The Leasing Consultant successfully leases and takes an active role in marketing the property and the generation of traffic. The Watchmaker is also responsible for supporting Client Advisors in the sale of a watch, ultimately enhancing the client experience. ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES In-Store Watch Maintenance • Service a watch completely. • Clean cases and bracelets using the ultrasonic cleaner and where applicable the steam machine. • Replacing pins and screws. • Water Resistance Testing - test watches to ensure they are water resistant using the pressure test machine and advise if the watch passed or failed. Provide a copy of the printed results for the customer. • Testing for rate deviation on mechanical watches using the timing machine. • Battery Installation - selecting the correct size and voltage of battery for watch. Ensuring battery straps are secure and cleaning of the terminal. • Using quartz analyzer to test voltage, rate and coil resistance. • Conduct quality control on out-of-store repaired watches including appearance, proper hand alignment, water resistance documentation and final wipe down and wrap. • Conducting quality control on same-day serviced watches including wipe and wrap. Introduction to the Urban Conservation Corps of the Inland Empire: The Urban Conservation Corps of the Inland Empire (UCCIE) is a certified Local Conservation Corps founded in 2006 by the late Bobby Vega and his wife Sandy Bonilla, out of a need to provide employment training to underserved transition age youth/young adults at risk of incarceration in the City of San Bernardino. The goal of the UCCIE is to provide at-risk transition age youth with opportunities to succeed through job skills training, education, and work experience with an emphasis on service projects that benefit the community. The UCCIE is the largest program of the Southern California Mountains Foundation, with three main focus areas: (1) Conservation services , (2) Recycling services, and (3) Corpsmember development with an on-site John Muir charter school. The UCCIE department has 15 full time staff that hire and train 50-60 young adult corpsmembers annually to work on conservation and recycling projects in San Bernardino and Riverside Counties. Job Description: The UCCIE Supervisor position is responsible for providing guidance and leadership to corpsmembers enrolled in the Urban Conservation Corps of the Inland Empire.
