► Key Areas of Responsibility
+ Operates the label machines properly and efficiently in order to meet production deadlines according to the daily job schedule.
+ Minimize waste or misuse of raw materials.

Review the effectiveness of the Kraft Heinz Sanitation Program on an annual basis for effectiveness and provide continuous improvement for the sanitation program at the factory level.

Initiate and execute cleaning verification and validation programs to prove effectiveness of Sanitation program.

Partner with business leaders on implementation of process improvement (Six Sigma / Lean / Kraft Heinz Global Production System (HGPS)), including leading change initiatives, planning, and facilitation.
Manage and evaluate the Sanitation staff including but not limited to performance management and employee development, etc.
Develop and manage the department's operating budget.

About the Role:
As a Production Supervisor, you will be a key player in shaping a supportive and engaging work environment for the Northlake, TX plant, a manufacturer of quality coffee. Perform the functions of data manipulation on the computer network, initiating jobs for production and laser printing on specific printer equipment, staging printed jobs in the production area to ensure a smooth transition flow through production in order to meet the delivery deadlines of each customer while maintaining quality standards.

Works closely with Facility Managers, Production Supervisors and Leads to assist with customer required directives, deliveries, changes, emergencies, problems with data and special files by printing accurately and efficiently. Responsible for minimizing waste and misuse of raw materials.
Communicates well with fellow associates, project coordinators, and the Facility Manager, while performing laser print functions by following daily job schedules. This requires being familiar with all customers, their special needs as well as production schedules to make sure the correct information is communicated.
Completes multiple tasks on multiple printers at the same time to help the work flow process. Juggling the tasks of running the current customer being laminated, printing re-runs and starting the next customer's work based on the schedule of the day.

Technical degree and/or license relating to electrical, mechanical or HVAC/Refrigeration - minimum of one required OR 120 hours of documented electrical training. License number and/or documentation must be provided before hire date.
Must be able to meet all minimum training requirements within first 6-12 months of hire date.
Obtain and Maintain Traulsen/OSHA certifications for powered equipment, including but not limited to, forklifts, scissor lifts, aerial booms, stock chasers, and floor scrubbers within first 90 days of hire date.
Capable of operating aerial lift equipment.
Obtain and maintain Traulsen/OSHA certifications for power equipment.
Ability to follow verbal and written instructions regarding procedures required for various machine repair.
