Forklift Operator
The salary range for this role is $21.00 to $23.00 hourly.*

What You Need:
High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
Proficiency operating powered industrial trucks (PITs), with 2+ years of experience (preferred)
OSHA or employee certification for PIT operation (preferred)
Safe, verifiable operating history (appreciated)
Ability to lift up to 40 lbs independently and heavier weights with assistance
What You'll Do:
Safely operate PITs such as counterbalance forklifts and order pickers to transport and organize merchandise
Unload incoming stock, pick orders, and load outbound trucks to meet store needs
Perform daily PIT inspections and ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety regulations
Operate RF scanners as directed by supervisors
Maintain a clean and organized warehouse by sweeping, dusting, and mopping as needed
Adhere to all company safety rules and participate in required training programs
Additional Requirements:
Frequent bending, stooping, climbing, and pushing/pulling
Constant sitting and fine hand/wrist manipulation (steering and controls)
Occasional walking and standing
Comfortable working in varying warehouse temperatures, including indoor and outdoor environments

The Chemical Operator position will typically work 12-hour shifts. The schedule for “Night Shift” is 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM. Over a 2-week period, associates are typically scheduled to work three (3) 12-hours days one week, followed by four (4) 12-hour days the following week, or vice versa. Candidates must be willing to work additional days as required. Initial training may be on Day Shift (7:00 AM to 7:00 PM) until sufficiently trained to work night shift.
Responsibilities:
Monitors batch while in process and make any adjustments as required. Properly communicates to supervisor when it appears that a goal or deadline will not be met.
Measure and mix chemicals according to specified formulas.
Monitor and adjust process variables such as temperature, pressure, and flow rates.
Follows all provisions of operating instructions. Responsible for the completion and accuracy of all batch ticket data entry. Responsible for meeting standard batch ticket cycle times while maintaining safety and quality.
Perform quality control checks on finished products. Monitors quality of output and takes appropriate action, including shutdown of process, to prevent or limit production. Follows all quality policies and production procedures to ensure quality product is produced.
Operates and monitors chemical processing equipment - Follow standard operating procedures to ensure safe and efficient production.
Stages raw materials and puts away finished product. Responsible for raw material and finished goods location integrity. Package and label finished products for shipment.
Maintain a clean and organized work area. Follow all safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE). Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to the supervisor.
Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED
Technical manufacturing experience in a chemical facility a bonus.
Standing for extended periods of time, ability to lift, push and pull up to 55 pounds frequently, exposure to outside conditions and ability to work any shift.
Previous experience in chemical manufacturing or related field preferred.
Familiarity with machining, packaging, warehouse, or materials handling is a plus.
Ability to read and interpret technical documents and instructions.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions.
Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.

Primary Responsibilities
Operations:

Job Summary
Responsible for following manufacturing instructions to perform production and shipping related duties to ensure on-time production and shipment of product while adhering to high standards of quality, safety and customer service.
What will you do?
Operates production equipment in a manner consistent with training and work instructions to ensure safety and the highest level of product quality.
Prepares mixing vessels, necessary pumps and hoses for unloading. Inspects all containers prior to filling for cleanliness and integrity.
Fills containers as prescribed in the associated batch ticket, pick ticket, and or export order sheet and prepares containers for shipment including labelling, palletizing and wrapping and completes work orders in JDE.
Maintains neat, thorough and correct completion of all batch related documentation. Calculates batch yields and responds appropriately.
Store and stage inventory in assigned areas for batch preparation, further processing and/or shipping.
Assist in tracking material inventory and performing inventory counts, make inventory transfers in JDE.
Loads and unloads box trucks and flat-beds, tanker trucks and rail cars, either manually or using proper material handling equipment.
Load containerized and bulk raw materials to production vessels.
Complete shipping responsibilities including; receive PO s in JDE, ship items in JDE, communicate late shipments to OTC group.
Prepare UPS and FedEx shipments and call trucks for shipment.
Maintains a clean and organized work area and strictly adheres to all plant safety policies.
Provides immediate containment, reporting and clean-up/recovery of spilled material or leaks.
Operates all types of Forklifts and other related motorized vehicles in a safe and proficient manner.
Holds team members accountable for safety and quality procedures. Routinely participate in site safety committee.
Assists in the investigation and resolution of customer complaints.

Work Environment/EHS/Physical Demands:
Will work in a manufacturing environment and may be exposed to fumes or airborne particles and toxic or caustic chemicals. The associate is exposed to moving mechanical parts, risk of electrical shock and trip and slip hazards. The noise level in the manufacturing environment is loud.
Ability to lift bags and other containers up to 50 pounds in a safe manner as directed. Ability to move drums up to 500 pounds with mechanical equipment in a safe manner as directed. May be required to stand for long periods and walk great distances daily. May be required to work in small spaces and high locations.

Job Description
The Sanding and Robot Operator - 3rd Shift position sets up, operates and maintains multiple robotic sanding cells as trained and instructed to meet or exceed defined production targets.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (other duties as assigned)
Operates multiple robotic sanding cells with the loading and unloading of helmets to maximize robot time sanding while also ensuring quality.
Identify helmet models to be sanded and correctly set the machine fixturing to ensure quality sanding.
Load and unload helmets from the fixturing proplerly.
Organize and maintain the machine fixturing so that they can be easily found as needed.
Operate the computer controls of each cell to select the proper program for the paint color being sanded.
Load the robot sanding tool as needed with the proper sand paper grit per the program running.
Change the interface pads and backup pads on each cell running as needed to maintain quality sanding.
Identify and communicate issues quickly to the GrayMatter Team using the Hot Line and the Team Viewer communication tool.
Communicate issues immediately to Team Leader and Supervisor.
Observes all safety rules and regulations.
Exercises care and good judgment at all times to prevent accidents and injuries.
Adheres to all company policies, procedures, rules, and BRG Code of Conduct.
Practices good housekeeping by keeping work cells clean and organized.
Performs other duties and tasks as assigned.

Production Operator E Job Responsibilities:
Manufactures resin and formaldehyde and/or related surfaces according to established procedures and HSE regulations.
Unloads and loads raw materials and finished products following established procedures (tanker trailers, railcars, box trucks, and bulk trucks)
Operates a forklift to load/unload raw materials (drums, totes, bags)
Collaborates with management to meet the production and shipping schedule
Ensures required shipping documents are completed and procedures are followed to be in compliance with all regulations and corporate requirements
Participates in the Joint Health and Safety Committee to facilitate safety improvements
Follows all site rules and procedures as they apply to quality, health, safety, and the environment
Visually monitors processes within their area of accountability and immediately informs the Lead Operator of any deviations or abnormalities

The Inserter Operator understands production and can set up and operate all inserting equipment, is accountable for the efficient operation of equipment, and the quality of the finished product. 1st Shift: M-F; 6:00 am-2:30 pm; 40 hours a week
Essential Functions
Operates envelope inserters and can sort mail
Maintain quality and production standards in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Set up, operate, and adjust equipment to meet established production standards regularly.
Must be able to effectively and efficiently operate multiple machines simultaneously.
Observe and monitor machine operations to detect malfunctions.
Continuously monitor the quality of the finished product according to established QC guidelines.
Ensure the work area is free of hazards and clean of debris.
Follows all required safety procedures and communicates all concerns regarding safety to the department manager.
Complete paperwork to assure proper job counts along with job trackability.
Responsible for accurate timekeeping and data collection through a computer system.
Involve the Department Supervisor and/or Department Manager whenever concerns exist regarding quality, schedules, delays, etc.
Read and understand the Job “Work Order" for instructions and specifications specific to the manufacturing of a job. Produce all jobs according to the specifications and instructions within the Work Order.
Approve setups and make ready before the jobs get produced.
Perform reasonable repairs and maintenance as needed.

What Youll Do
Operate heavy machinery safely and efficiently, including:
Excavators
Skid steers
Telehandlers
Mini track loaders and similar equipment

Perform daily inspections, minor maintenance, and safe use of all equipment

What Were Looking For
13+ years of heavy equipment operating experience (construction or landscaping environment preferred)

Willingness to learn dock-specific installation techniques
A team-first attitude with strong communication skills
