I loved being so closely involved with the animals. I cared about all of the pets as if they were my own, getting to know their individualized personalities and needs and upholding the standards that I would expect from someone taking care of my pets.
The facility was very understaffed, so I would rarely have days off. The animals relied on you for their wellbeing, so I would willing sacrifice those days off to make sure they were well taken care of.
