Emergency Department Registered Nurse - 24 hours (part-time) evenings Job Description:LAHEY BURLINGTON IS A LEVEL 1 TRAUMA CENTERAs we continue to grow, we are seeking experienced and qualified nurses for our Emergency Department.
The experienced and highly skilled nurses in the ED provide care to patients that have been in accidents or have medical emergencies that need immediate attention.
There is nothing our ED Nurses cant do.
Our new spacious, state-of-the-art Emergency Department has: 44 beds in over 45,000 square feet Completely new entrances with a sun-filled reception area A convenient imaging suite Pharmacy Fast-track area Behavioral health suite Private treatment rooms Family waiting area and a family consultation room.
At Lahey Hospital & Medical Center we utilize complete computerized charting (EPIC) for patient assessment and care documentation, and to electronically record medication administration for the delivery of all medications provided to their patients.
Along with excellent critical thinking skills, a desire to exceed patient expectations and good interpersonal skills, we require:State of Massachusetts RN licensure At least one year of nursing experience in the ED is preferred BLS Required (AHA or American Red Cross) ACLS preferred Pay Range: $37.

Qualifications
Nursing Diploma or ASN, BSN preferred
At least 1 year of previous of Nursing experience in acute care or sub-acute setting required
Critical Care and Telemetry experience preferred
Current Massachusetts registered Nurse license required.
Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS certification (American Heart Association)
ACLS certification preferred
Demonstrate critical thinking, service excellence and good interpersonal communication skills, ability to read/comprehend written instructions, ability to follow verbal instructions, PC skills
Lifting 75 lbs. maximum with frequent lifting and/or carrying of objects weighing up to 25 lbs
