Position Description:
We're looking for full and part-time Assisted Living Caregivers. This position is great for CNAs, nursing assistants, PCT's and nursing students. The goal is to help our residents feel comfortable and as independent as possible while they live their daily lives. What you'll find, however, is that you end up forming relationships with the people you help that go far beyond "work" and end up feeling like family. Many of our caregivers call it the most fulfilling job they've ever done. Paid on-the-job training is available.

What will you do as a Daily Living Assistant?

Position Summary:
This position works any of the follow positions listed as needed to provide quality nutritional care to our residents through accurate and sanitary food preparation and service, and cleaning and sanitizing activities. This position functions under strict Federal, State and local regulations, which must be learned and practiced.
Job duties:
Prepare breakfast, lunch, or supper items using standardized recipes, production sheets and production counts.
Performs all assembly positions for cooks on tray line.
Washes all pots, pans and cooking utensils at the end of each shift and as needed during the shift.
Assemble resident meals, efficiently and accurately, within a given time period.
Mops and cleans all kitchen flooring twice daily and especially grout to keep grime free.
Takes out all trash at least twice daily and breaks boxes for recycling program as needed.
Receives; checks to see that the item and number ordered are received.
Monitors the temperature of food upon delivery and puts away all refrigerated and frozen food stock within 45 minutes of arrival.

Reports to and receives written and verbal assignments from Department Manager or Supervisor. Performs a variety of general maintenance work on equipment and systems and provides support to other work units as needed.

Position description:
Responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the nursing care for a caseload of residents from admission to dismissal on assigned nursing unit. Coordinates and supervises the nursing care delivered by the nursing assistants working under Team Leader's supervision.
Full time - Shifts available:
Day shift: 7:00 am - 7:30 pm
Night shift : 7:00 pm - 7:30 am
Compensation: $34.00 - 39.00 / hour - Based on experience PLUS any additional shift and weekend differentials
Duties:
Administers and charts medications and treatments and adheres to all Pharmacy procedures.
Makes rounds on each resident
Assesses for significant changes in residents' condition and update acute intervention care plan accordingly.
Supervises nursing assistants on the unit; evaluates work performance in terms of resident care, completing documentation, staff relations, efficiency of service, and intervenes when needed.
Initiates and completes all necessary documentation and reporting.
Communicates all order and status changes to the interdisciplinary team.
Maintains a safe environment for residents and employees while exhibiting a positive attitude towards all customers.
Initiates and maintains individual care plans based upon comprehensive assessment.
Responsible for completing nursing notes according to Medicare/Medicaid guidelines and Bethany Village charting guidelines.
Qualifications: Due to our federal funding, we are a drug free workplace (including marijuana). A pre- employment drug screen is required for all positions.
Registered Nurse from accredited school of nursing.
One year long-term care experience preferred.
