This position is great for CNAs, nursing assistants, PCT's and nursing students. The goal is to help our residents feel comfortable and as independent as possible while they live their daily lives. What you'll find, however, is that you end up forming relationships with the people you help that go far beyond "work" and end up feeling like family. Many of our caregivers call it the most fulfilling job they've ever done. Paid on-the-job training is available. Part-Time-Evening shifts available Evening shift (3p-11:30p) ( Schedule rotation worked is Monday-Saturday-Sunday- Friday ) Compensation: $17.00 - $22.00 / hour - Based on experience and schedule What will you do as a Daily Living Assistant? Full time - Shifts available: Day shift: 7:00 am - 7:30 pm Night shift : 7:00 pm - 7:30 am Compensation: $34.00 - 39.00 / hour - Based on experience PLUS any additional shift and weekend differentials Duties: Administers and charts medications and treatments and adheres to all Pharmacy procedures. Makes rounds on each resident Assesses for significant changes in residents' condition and update acute intervention care plan accordingly. Supervises nursing assistants on the unit; evaluates work performance in terms of resident care, completing documentation, staff relations, efficiency of service, and intervenes when needed. Initiates and completes all necessary documentation and reporting. Communicates all order and status changes to the interdisciplinary team. Maintains a safe environment for residents and employees while exhibiting a positive attitude towards all customers. Initiates and maintains individual care plans based upon comprehensive assessment. Responsible for completing nursing notes according to Medicare/Medicaid guidelines and Bethany Village charting guidelines. Qualifications: Due to our federal funding, we are a drug free workplace (including marijuana). A pre- employment drug screen is required for all positions. Registered Nurse from accredited school of nursing. One year long-term care experience preferred.
