Responsibilities
* Provide the highest quality of service to the customer at all times.
* Ensure that all luggage is on board for all passengers.
* Only the driver will load/unload luggage from the vehicle.
* Repeatedly moves luggage or packages weighing at least 50 lbs.
* Transports guest to and from the hotel and the airport, requesting specific information on each passenger's destinations.
* Upon arrival at the hotel, refer passengers to the Front Desk for registration as driver unloads luggage.
* Bring luggage into the lobby, bring to room if time permits.
* Maintain vehicle mileage log at beginning and end of each trip indicating mileage, time, name and date.
* Ensure the vehicle has at least 1/2 tank of gasoline at all times.
* The associate daily checks all vital fluids such as oil, transmission fluid, brake, etc. in the assigned vehicle.
* Exterior cleaning: weekly washing of vehicle (either by hand or at car wash) inclusive of all windows, white walls and door jams.
* Waxing may be required once a month as decided by the assigned manager.
* Interior cleaning: empty all ashtrays, pick up loose debris from floor.
* Daily vacuum floors, clean windows, wipe seats, seat ledges and other surfaces as necessary.
* Know all safety and vehicle regulations and emergency procedures and how to act upon them.
* Ensures children are seated at all times and are supplied with a child safety seat.
* Have knowledge of the hotel property, hotel staff, van service area, and hotel services with hours of operation.
* Report all accidents and/or traffic violations immediately.
* Adhere to all work rules, procedures and policies established by the company, including, but not limited to, those contained in the associate handbook.
* Wear the proper uniform at all times as specified by the Manager.
* Other related duties may also be assigned.
Qualifications
* Contract requires employees to speak, understand, read and write English.
* A valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record for the past three (3) years to be eligible under the NMS vehicle insurance policy (may be required at other locations).
* Must have a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
* One (1) year of customer service experience.

The Refuge Information Technician will act as a liaison between the Refuge and one or more villages throughout the Yukon Kuskokwim Delta region and will manage and facilitate communication and collaboration between the Refuge and these Alaska Native stakeholders.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Meet with Alaska Native residents and tribal leaders to learn about and understand their concerns, questions, and positions with respect to Refuge programs; community values and interests; traditional subsistence uses of fish and wildlife resources; and historic and current information about wildlife populations and harvest methods. The RIT will then communicate these concerns, questions, interests, traditional uses, and historical perspectives to the Refuge Manager to enable the Refuge to calibrate its cooperative management programs in acknowledgment of this information.
Plan and facilitate meetings between Alaska Native residents and Refuge officials and may coordinate logistics in support of biological projects on the Refuge. These services are critical to advance the interests of all parties in successful collaboration and cooperative resource management.
Communicates with Refuge officials about traditional Alaska Native uses of Refuge lands and stakeholder perspectives on Refuge management programs, research, regulatory actions, Refuge permitting and policies, and other issues that impact Alaska Native stakeholders. The RIT will also communicate Refuge program ideas, concepts, concerns, and plans to Calista and other Alaska Native stakeholders who may be affected by Refuge actions.
Plans, develop, and implement programs and processes to ensure that important information is collected and shared between the Refuge and Alaska Native stakeholders living within and in proximity to the Refuge's boundaries. The RIT will also optimize the use of existing communication structures, including public meetings, educational programs in rural communities and schools, and personal connections, to achieve these goals.
Explains natural resource management laws, regulations, plans, and agreements and the goals of these laws, regulations, plans, and agreements to Alaska Native stakeholders who live on or in proximity to or use Refuge lands. The RIT understands and communicates the effects of laws and agreements of particular significance to Calista shareholders and within the Calista region, including the Migratory Bird Treaty Act (MBTA) and the Alaska Native Migratory Bird Co-Management Council (AMBCC), the Alaska National Interest in Land Conservation Act (ANILCA) and the Regional Advisory Councils established by ANILCA for rural subsistence uses, and the Alaska Native Claims Settlement Act (ANCSA).
Attend important village meetings and tribal council meetings.
Attend regular meetings with the Refuge Manager and staff and provide written and oral reports on Alaska Native stakeholder concerns or other topics of concern and attention, and to receive briefings from the Refuge Manager about Refuge concerns and program updates.
Assist in communication and scheduling for any Government-to-Government consultations between the Refuge, Tribes, and village corporations.
Attend and participate in Refuge staff meeting. This will include attending and presenting the previous year's activities and accomplishments.
Attend Rural Advisory Committee (RAC) meetings convened to recommend subsistence hunting and fishing policies and regulations to the Federal Subsistence Board under ANILCA.

Develop outreach materials during federal and state hunting and fishing seasons to educate all stakeholders about regulatory requirements, land permits, and cultural considerations when using Refuge land and resources.

Assist the Refuge in integrating more Yupik-specific cultural and linguistic content into Refuge education, outreach, and cultural interpretation.
Work with state and federal agencies, Native and non-Native organizations to advocate for policies, laws, regulations, programs, and services that will benefit Calista Shareholders and lands, and advance collaboration with the Refuge.
Assist with interviewing and recommending selection of subsistence waterfowl surveyors, summer hires from the villages, and providers of locally procured services.
Arrange field logistics, coordinate Refuge access to Alaska Native lands, and explain the purpose and scope of Refuge projects to Alaska Natives residing on or near the Refuge.
Arrange, conduct, and participate in outdoor or resource-related activities for youth and community events for all ages such as educational or cultural camps, steel shot clinics, hunter safety courses, Alaska migratory bird calendar contest, GPS training, nature photography, survival skills, and recycling and clean-up efforts.
Work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.

This position will present and share all information in a way that assists the tribe in determining their position for their ICWA cases, and will represent and advocate for the tribe's position across the child welfare system (admin reviews, court hearing, TDMs, trials, etc.) This is a career ladder position with level I and II. Level I is a introductory/trainee position with limited independence. Level II includes additional responsibilities and increasing independence.

Basic ICWA knowledge and skills or the ability to learn and apply basic ICWA skills quickly.
Accepts, intakes, and fully processes and manages all incoming paperwork related to state child welfare cases for ICWA compacting tribes.
Accepts, intakes and fully processes and manages all paperwork related to assigned tribal cases
Responsible for maintaining the ICWA calendar for all assigned cases and providing the ICWA workers and tribal leadership reports about the progress of their ICWA cases on a regular basis.
Initiates regular (weekly) telephone and email contacts with village-based ICWA workers to provide on-going assistance with child welfare cases.
Initiates all necessary files/paperwork for new ICWA cases
Copies all court files soon after AVCP files an Entry of Appearance and provides those documents for the Bethel office and distribution to the assigned ICWA tribal office.
Maintains accurate data on all case activities and reviews.
Maintains detailed records for all cases, including, but not limited to, case notes, telephone logs, reports of contact, identifying data, referrals made, services provided, and related recommendations.
Attends all OCS reviews and related meetings, TDMs, case meetings, etc, on all state cases where AVCP has filed an Entry of Appearance.
Builds a positive and effective working relationship with ALSC.
Appears in court when needed for all ICWA cases assigned and works collaboratively with ALSC in all legal proceedings for assigned ICWA cases.
Assists ICWA compact tribes in reviewing and providing input into OCS safety plans and case plans for families in the state system.
Documents in all case file records all requests made to OCS and follows-up on those requests to determine if they were implemented by the state and if assistance needs to be provided.
Documents OCS's active efforts for all assigned cases.
Provides updates consistently for all assigned cases (ROC notes, pleadings, etc.) for the Bethel office master files.
Initiates prevention case work to help prevent children being removed from their home and families
Responsible for directing ICWA advocacy and support of the tribal ICWA programs and
ensuring all ICWA staff are fully advocating for tribal positions across the case
management systems.
Independently advocate for tribal positions in a court room setting.
Initiate and perform all the above responsibilities with independence
Manage and analyze high volumes of data
Other case work management duties as assigned or needed
Other ongoing child welfare responsibilities
Travels as needed to facilitate reunification/permanency; ICWA compliant placement or other child welfare needs as requested by the Tribe.
Acts as a liaison between ICWA foster families and OCS in order to provide support to the foster families.
Works on recruiting and retaining native foster homes.
Works in partnership with other programs, such as TANF, Child Care, Head Start, etc to identify and support families.
Assists with tribal jurisdiction case transfers and the tribal jurisdiction case process from the transfer or opening of a case, ongoing case management support and referrals/coordination for family services with the ICWA/Tribal worker, and case closure process.
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Fluency in Yup'ik, Cup'ik and English is strongly preferred. Must have strong analytical, organizational, written and verbal skills.
EXPERIENCE:
An associate's degree or its equivalent is preferred. Must have at least two years of direct related experience in lieu of the associate's degree. Proven ability to read and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical and governmental regulations. Proven ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers and the public.
Additionally, at least three (3) years of proven, high level ICWA social work. Previous evaluations noted as good to excellent. Consistent ICWA knowledge and application. Proven ability to speak in a court room setting at statewide meetings, or other settings which need tribal influence for decisions involving ICWA. At least 3 years of supervisory experience is highly preferred with previous evaluation noted as good to excellent.
