Bethlehem Central School District company history timeline

1930

The Bethlehem Central School District’s reputation for excellence has attracted families to the Town of Bethlehem since the district was formed in 1930.

1941

Monday November 24, 1941 was to be opening day for the new school.

In 1941 (by then Slingerlands was part of the Bethlehem Central School District) the New Scotland Road school was in its turn deemed insufficient for modern standards and rising enrollment.

2014

In 2014, BCHS earned a Gold rating from US News & World Report on their “Best High Schools” list.

2021

Current students, alumni, parents and community members will be asked to join Unity Day in support of Black History Month at BC. Throughout the month, students and staff will be wearing the 2021 Black History Month t-shirt designed by BCMS student Isabella Sindon.
