Eduardo is the co-founder and COO at BetterUp, the first leadership development platform to connect coaching to sustainable behavior change. Eduardo brings both a successful operational track record and personal passion for leadership development to his role. As COO, he leads work in coaching, curriculum and assessment, and is responsible for the delivery and impact of BetterUp’s products and programs to its growing customer base.

Prior to BetterUp, Eduardo held management positions at Altamont Capital Partners and Bain & Company. He serves in leadership capacities for community organizations such as Youth Leadership America, De Marillac Academy and Malama Honua Charter School.

Eddie holds a B.S. in Business from the University of Southern California.

Ryan heads BetterUp’s technology development and is a proven builder of web and mobile products and architect and implementer of technology platforms to launch new companies and explore business concepts. Ryan’s passion for what he does, coupled with talent and experience, combines into a meticulous eye for craftsmanship and a stellar Chief Technology Officer for BetterUp

Prior to BetterUp, Ryan held senior engineering and development roles with UnitedHealth Group, VMware, Socialcast and Digital River.

Ryan holds a B.S. in Computer Information Science from Minnesota State University.

Gabriella Rosen Kellerman is a Top 50 Women Leaders in SaaS 2020 at The Software Report, Contributor at The Atlantic, and Chief Product Officer at BetterUp and is based in Berkeley, California. She has worked as Psychiatry Resident at UC SAN DIEGO HEALTH, Managing Director at BetterUp, and Dept of Violence Prevention at World Health Organization. Gabriella attended Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai between 2003 and 2007 and Harvard University between 1999 and 2003.

Over the past twenty years, I've been fortunate to have worked in marketing and tech in roles committed to delivering remarkable experiences and creating meaningful interactions between brands and people. I have experienced what it means to scale up across stages of growth and the importance of listening to the user along the journey. As someone who is a-ok with ambiguity, I get excited about uncovering insights, creating clarity, and leaning into the power of storytelling to drive business results.

I've created and articulated a vision, and then inspired and rallied teams through execution. I'm left and right-brain balanced and a firm believer that you can be serious about what you do without taking yourself too seriously. The organizations I've built have tapped into the unique strengths of individuals who strive to perform at a higher standard and who sweat the details to get it right (I'm sure this sounds intense, but there's always a healthy amount of laughter along the way).

Damian leads program development at BetterUp with an eye for hitting on the inner work that it takes to aspire beyond one’s own limitations and, with grit and resolve, achieve success. Damian deep credentialed experience positive developmental psychology, secured after an NFL career, has afforded him the opportunity to coach and consult for global companies and elite athletes.

Damian founded the Vaughn Center to develop leadership and positive social impact of executives, business owners and athletes. Prior to BetterUp, he worked as SVP, human resources, at HBO Latin America and as Director of Organization Development at 21st Century Fox. He is also a Clinical Professor at the University of Oregon.

Damian has an M.A. and a PhD in positive development psychology from Claremont Graduate University.

Payne has focused his entire career on computer security and data privacy, most recently at Netflix where he served as Engineering Director, Product and Application Security. During his tenure, he led the organization’s pioneering global scalable programs that covered product security for all software created at the company, customer fraud and abuse protections, infrastructure security, critical software services, and security program management. Prior to that, Dr. Payne was Director of Security Research at Nebula, Inc., where he led a world-class team to build security into an enterprise private cloud product while also founding and leading the global security group for OpenStack.
