To perform effectively in this position, the incumbent must currently be at least 18 years of age and be enrolled as a full-time student in electrical, electronics, or instrumentation technology program, with freshman year completed. A minimum of a 2.5 grade point average (GPA) is required. A valid driver's license is also required.
 
 
**Typical Physical/Mental/Environmental Demands** :
 
 
Requires constant walking, hand coordination, and standing, occasional stooping/bending, climbing stairs and ladders, kneeling, occasional hand grip of 45 pounds, lifting and carrying up to 55 pounds, reaching above and below shoulder level; sitting, lifting 50 pounds from knee to shoulder high, crawling, pushing and pulling up to 30 pounds, and use of keyboard/computer and test equipment.
