Supervises the Second Shift Supervisors and performs management functions including scheduling, assigning work, evaluating performance, approving leave, recommending and conducting training, recommending and administering discipline, relationship management, and addressing employee concerns. Ensures that direct reports are abreast of the latest knowledge and techniques within areas of operational specialization. Has functional supervision of Park Rangers, including full-time Commissioned and part-time, seasonal and intermittent Non-Commissioned. Directs the implementation of established policies, procedures, protocols, and responses to emergencies and other incidents occurring during assigned shifts.
