Beyond Meat CEO and leadership

Dariush Ajami, Ph.D., joined Beyond Meat in June 2015. Since July 2018, Dr. Ajami has been Chief Innovation Officer of Beyond Meat. He served as Director of Chemistry from June 2015 to August 2016, Director of Research from August 2016 to August 2017 and Vice President of Innovation from August 2017 to July 2018. Prior to joining Beyond Meat, Mr. Ajami was an Assistant Professor of Molecular Assembly at The Scripps Research Institute and Skaggs Institute of Chemical Biology from July 2008 to June 2015, where he worked on the fundamentals of molecular assembly, natural products and their applications in therapeutic development. Mr. Ajami has a BS degree in Chemistry from Isfahan University, Iran, a M.S. in Organic Chemistry from the Chemistry and Chemical Engineering Research Center of Iran, and a Ph.D. degree in Organic Chemistry from Technical University of Brunswick (Technische Universität Braunschweig), Germany.

Adcock joins Beyond Meat as Chief Supply Chain Officer after 31 years at Tyson Foods. He most recently served as Chief Supply Chain Officer, helping to scale the company’s poultry business through cross-functional strategic oversight and the integration of innovative technologies across the supply chain.

Deanna is the Chief Global Sales Officer at Rodan + Fields. In this role, Deanna is focused on global revenue growth and driving strategy in partnership with the R+F Field organization and Independent Consultant community in the US, Canada and Australia. As Chief Global Sales Officer, Deanna oversees the Global Sales Teams for R+F as well as Learning and Development, Field Marketing and Communications, and Programs and Recognition for our 200,000 + Consultants. She brings to R+F more than 25 years of experience at CPG brands including PepsiCo, Campbell Soup and Universal Interactive Games, and significant experience leading large field organizations. Deanna completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Oregon, graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology.

Ramsey joined Beyond Meat as Chief Operating Officer after 30 years at Tyson Foods. He began at Tyson in 1992, eventually holding several top leadership positions, including Group President of Poultry. In this role, he oversaw all domestic poultry business units, driving market share through strategic integrated planning, business acquisitions and integration, lean manufacturing, and cost reduction. He also served as President of the Global McDonald’s Business, overseeing sales, operations, and marketing for one of Tyson’s key customers.
