Ensure dining room cleanliness, organization, and systems are consistent per the RLC Operations Guide; monitor, stock and clean the Chef's Pantry and Bistro to maintain freshness, sanitation and excellent presentation; assign cleaning responsibilities and supporting tasks to Servers. Lead and monitor dining service quality to guarantee resident and guest satisfaction; personally welcome new residents following the RLC Orientation process; and ensure prompt retrieval of room service trays. Participate in community leadership meetings and collaborate with the team to address resident needs, plan upcoming events, and support overall business objectives. Similarly negotiates resolutions of the amount of Medicare or other liens attached to tort claim recoveries and the amount of insurance coverage available to the Postal Service. 4. Manages a large (200+ a year) tort claim caseload; processing claims within statutory deadlines and according to individual performance goals. Handles larger collection matters for damages caused to Postal property and vehicles forwarded to the National Tort Center by Operations or Finance. 5. Writing or drafting correspondence with Postal District Managers, claimants and their attorneys; comprehensive claim summaries for postal attorneys; medical chronologies based on the review and interpretation of complex medical records, reports, diagnostics and medical billings; interrogatory and request for production responses; Freedom of Information Act responses; demand letters; settlement agreements; and other work product as required. 6. Prepares and certifies Postal discovery responses and various pleadings in connection with tort litigation, and provide other assistance as requested by Postal attorneys and the Chief Counsel. 7. Provides advice to Tort Claim Coordinators (TCCs) and other local postal officials with regard to the FTCA, tort liability issues under state laws, the value of lesser claims handled directly by the TCCs, and other related matters. 8. Responds to requests for information and/or subpoenas pursuant to the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) and/or Touhy regulations ensuring compliance with applicable deadlines, statutory exemptions and reporting requirements. REQUIREMENTS 1.     Job Description Life Enrichment Director Independence Village of Ames Full Time 1325 Coconino Rd, Ames, IA 50014 The Life Enrichment Director plans, organizes, coordinates, and facilitates life enrichment activities that are beneficial and complimentary to the social welfare and interests of the residents of a senior living community. The Life Enrichment Director will also lead, train, and be accountable for Life Enrichment support roles within the community. Required Experience for Life Enrichment Director: High School Diploma or GED with a minimum of three years related experience and/or training preferred. Must be able to work a flexible schedule, which may include evenings, weekends, and holiday hours. Compassionate towards the senior population. Proficient in general computer skills. Must have prior experience leading a team. Organizational and time management skills. Primary Responsibilities for Life Enrichment Director: Actively support our 1440 culture and pillars. Responsible for the overall direction, planning, communication, and execution of activities and life skills in the Life Enrichment Department. Implement and maintain the Life Enrichment Standards for all community service offerings. Complete all tasks and functions while maintaining a high level of resident safety. Support in proper setup, clean up, and upkeep of activity areas and community spaces. Adhere to and uphold all standards in the Employee Handbook. Collaborate with other departments to create the best experience at the community. Must be able to work a flexible schedule, which may include evenings, weekends, and holiday hours. Lead, train, and hold accountability for the Life Enrichment support roles (LEL, LEA, Shuttle Drivers). Provide direction to Life Enrichment support roles regarding day-to-day activities and responsibilities. Responsible for completion of all administrative tasks (e.g., budget management) pertaining to Life Enrichment with the ability to delegate where appropriate to Life Enrichment support roles. Support functional responsibilities in absence of Executive Director as needed. General Working Conditions: This position entails standing for long periods of time. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to communicate effectively with others, sit, stand, walk and use hands to handle keyboard, telephone, paper, files, and other equipment and objects. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms. This position requires the ability to review detailed documents and read computer screens. The employee will occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. The work environment requires appropriate interaction with others. The noise level in the work environment is moderate. The Investor Relations Intern will support Waterton's Investor Relations department, which is responsible for capital raising and investor and prospect relations. In this role, you will work closely with the team to support the Firm's fundraising and investor relations efforts and contribute to fundraising related projects including researching prospects, updating and assembling pitch books, drafting responses to DDQs/RFPs, aggregating and updating data for fundraising and collaborating with the broader Waterton teams on diligence follow ups. How you will contribute to our team: Marketing Materials: You will collaborate with the team to update marketing materials (fact sheet, pitch decks, due diligence questionnaires) for existing and new products. Prospect Investor Analysis: You will assist in prospect research, qualifying and preparing target investor outreach and aggregate briefing notes by type, region, allocation and contact information. Explore AI-driven Enhancements: You will assist in exploring the use of AI in our investor relations workflow, including optimizing marketing materials and investor prospecting.
