Job Summary
The Production Operator will blend and mix dry raw materials to meet specifications as finished product in the monolithics department. The operator must be cross functional and able to cover all jobs / workstations within the department, as well as operations within the shipping department and lance department.
This is considered a safety sensitive position therefore will be subject to random drug testing as required.
*This will start as a temporary hire with the opportunity to move to a fulltime position
Responsibilities
Monolithics Operator
:
Follow established procedure for startup and shutdown of equipment.
Drive and operate forklift
Operate the control system for blending and mixing via the HMI
Monitor the product and feed bin levels and adjust as required
Add micro ingredients from small bags
Add minor ingredients at manual dump station
Untie overhead bags as they are hung over bins
Use pry bar and poker to clean material out of bags and bins during changeover
Assist driver and driver assist operator during breaks and lunches by hanging new bags in overhead racks and removing empty bags from overhead racks
Maintain and complete all paperwork
Maintain area housekeeping and safety
Bag and Wrapper
:
Prior to bagging, label each bag with the product label
Place bag onto overhead Chantland spout and hang all straps on the overhead hooks and fill up the bag with product
Check bag weight periodically to ensure the bag weight is accurate.
Using a fork truck, move the pallet to the stretch wrapper and stretch wrap the pallet.
Move the full pallet to the stock room using a fork truck.
Take a sample from the product bag as directed from QA
Lock out mixers and sweep clean during changeover
Complete daily and weekly 5s activities
Maintain area housekeeping and safety
Monitor dust collector and hopper for issues and notify supervisor when it needs picked up
Miscellaneous
:
Record pertinent labor and/or production information from the work shift.
Assist all other operators to maintain operations
Complete safety inspection sheets for work areas and/or mobile equipment.
Communicate with individuals internal and external to the organization, providing/gathering information as needed.
Other Duties & Responsibilities
:
Operate sweeper to maintain appropriate cleanliness throughout work areas.
Operate other mobile equipment such as fork trucks, yard trucks, etc.
Assist maintenance staff with repairs of equipment as needed.
Clean and organize work area using equipment/tools as necessary.
Train other employees to learn the duties of the job.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Empty bins as needed.

Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead FWT, installation, commissioning, testing, and handover activities on-site, acting as the single point of contact for the customer. * Serves as a project representative by building and maintaining effective relationships with customers as well as other local organizations such as authorities, banks, and suppliers to ensure their active support of field activities.
* Ensures detailed and up-to-date construction Health & Safety (H&S) plan is in place in respect of each work package, compliant with the ABB H&S plan.
* Ensures all on-site resources are properly trained on company health, safety and environment policy and proactively promotes health and safety considerations to project partners throughout the project.
* Empowered to suspend any activities on site (be it by ABB personnel or by subcontractors) in case of HSE violation and, if a situation arises, takes the necessary steps to ensure that ABB employees and other persons who may be present are not put at risk.

* Controls project cost for the project site work, monitors actual spend against forecasts, and estimates final cost for the same. Manages the petty cash and has delegated authority for local purchasing within agreed limits.

* Ensures (with HR support) that the area of responsibility is properly organized, staffed, skilled and directed.
* Guides, motivates and develops direct and indirect reports within HR policies. Coordinates local accommodation, site facilities, office equipment, etc.
Qualifications for the role
* BS Engineering, BS Management required.
* 5+ Years Field service project experience with an electrical OEM, experience leading long term field assignments, and field quality assurance delivery focusing on procedures and implementation.
* Ability to travel 80-100% of the time within North America and ability to be away from home for extended periods.
* Strong understanding of site commissioning and oversight of engineered solutions including IEC61850 projects.
* Ability to develop and implement test, start-up, and commissioning plans with third party Cx agents.
* Experience leading start-up teams responsible for ABB and GE LV and MV electrical equipment, relays, and PRN networks preferred.
* Experience leading multidisciplinary site teams of electrical field engineers and technicians as well as third party contractors preferred.

Our Location: Our offices are located at 65 Messimer Drive in Newark, Ohio or 8402 Blackjack Road in Mount Vernon. Both are a short 30-minute scenic commute from Columbus, Zanesville, and Lancaster.
Qualifications: Candidates must possess strong written and oral communication skills and the ability to collaborate with other service providers. High School Diploma with one to three years of care coordination experience for individuals with mental health or substance abuse issues. Preferred Associates Degree in Human Services or related field. Qualified Mental Health Specialist (QMHS). Licensed Social Worker (LSW) or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) preferred. State of Ohio Driver's License. BLS/CPR certification required. Basic computer, phone and typing skills are necessary for all positions.
