Requirements
Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school
3 years related experience and training, or equivalent combination of education and experience

The ideal candidate for the Human Resource Generalist (HRG) is experienced in managing the FMLA, WC, Unemployment and ADA processes; HRIS system administration; administers benefits, and leave; enforces company policies and practices.; conducts trainings and education.
Position Duties and Responsibilities:
The
Human Resource Generalist
responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:
Manages and administers the FMLA process, including reviewing documentation, issuing determinations, sending correspondence, and maintaining confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA.
Tracks FMLA usage, return-to-work dates, extensions, and coordinates with HR and employees regarding short-term disability and leave status.
Oversees the ADA process by evaluating accommodation requests, collaborating with department leaders, and managing related communications.
Manages the Workers' Compensation process, serving as the primary contact for work-related injuries, filing claims, coordinating light duty, and working with the insurance carrier and payroll.
Serves as system administrator for the HRIS, providing training, maintaining configurations, and developing workflows to improve efficiency.
Administers employee benefits programs, including health, dental, vision, life, flexible spending, supplemental, voluntary, and 403B plans.
Acts as the main contact for benefit brokers, vendors, and third-party administrators, and conducts benefit education sessions for employees.
Manages benefit enrollments, COBRA, qualifying events, and compliance testing, and collaborates with payroll for billing reconciliation.
Provides customer service and develops communication tools to enhance understanding of benefits.
Reviews and audits benefit and retirement enrollments, status changes, and eligibility each month.
Supports ACA data management, annual 5500 filings, and benefit plan audits.
Assists the Senior HR Generalist with HR functions such as compensation, leave, employee relations, and compliance matters.
Responds to routine employment inquiries, escalating complex issues as needed.
Conducts quarterly visits to remote offices and participates in regular team and shadowing activities to support cross-department collaboration.
Completes assigned training to maintain compliance and stays current on HR trends, regulations, and best practices.
Ensures compliance with all employment laws and serves as back-up for recruiting, onboarding, and other HR administrative tasks.
Performs additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Education & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
A minimum of two years of human resource generalist experience.
PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP highly desired.

Leads QAPI meetings and quality improvement committees. · Coordinate the functions of all departments and develop standards and methods of measuring patient care services, including a chronological record of services provided to patients as required by the ESRD Network Coordinating Council and Medicare. · Work with staff to maintain chronological, thorough, and appropriate documentation in the patient record of all treatments, activities, and communication with the patient, physician and other healthcare professionals. · Achieve program's target goals for patient outcomes in accordance with quality patient care and Company goals.
OPERATIONAL READINESS
· Knowledge of and remain current with federal, state, local laws and regulations, including health care professionals practice act requirements. · Assure that the clinic is in compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations and receives continuing certification from all statutory and regulatory agencies. · Develop, implement and follow up necessary Corrective Action Plans for internal and external surveys. · May assume Charge Nurse's responsibilities as needed. · Responsible for duties listed in Registered Supervising Nurse job description and nursing services policy # C-AD-0110 or must designate Registered Nurse meeting these qualifications. · May fulfill responsibility of facility CEO as delegated by Governing Body. · Conduct and/or participate in both formal and informal meetings with the governing body, Regional Director, Medical Director and the staff. Assure that appropriate staff meetings, in-service education meetings, and team patient care planning meetings are held monthly. Assure that Quality Assessment & Performance Improvement Program is current at all times. · Establish, maintain, and submit all required records and reports concerning staff, patients, and the operational affairs of the center. · Plan, coordinate, and approve effective and efficient staffing to meet patient needs and regulations. · Oversee the maintenance of equipment and supplies to meet current laws and regulations.
OPERATIONAL READINESS (cont.) · Continuously monitor to ensure that a safe and sanitary physical environment is maintained throughout the facility; that all equipment is maintained and functions properly; and that adequate and appropriate inventory levels of all supplies are available and used correctly. · Supervise the maintenance of equipment, building areas occupied by the center and other property belonging to the center. · Know and understand the water treatment and mechanisms of the equipment of the facility. · Assist, when necessary, with disinfection of equipment and supplies including bicarbonate delivery systems and dialysis machines.
PARTNERSHIPS · Monitor all contractual agreements; update as needed with corporate oversight. · Maintain collaborative working relationship with Medical Director and physicians. · Establish and maintain a positive relationship with area hospitals, agencies, vendors and the community. · Actively promote GUEST customer service standards; develop effective relationships at all levels of the organization. · Respond effectively to inquiries or complaints.
STAFF DEVELOPMENT/ RETENTION · Ensure all staff meet required qualifications for position held and perform duties within limitations established by and in accordance with company policy/procedures, health care professionals practice acts, applicable state and federal laws and regulations. · Recruit, train, develop, and supervise all personnel. · Maintain effective personnel management and employee relations, including evaluating the performance of all personnel; approving and submitting all hours worked and counseling and disciplining employees. · Uphold management goals of corporation by leading staff in team concepts and promoting a team effort. · Effectively communicates expectations; accepts accountability and holds others accountable for performance.
Qualifications/Requirements:

Requirements include:

1 year previous dialysis management experience preferred.

Position Duties and Responsibilities:

Assist with general store operations under the guidance of management.

Your Impact
You will be responsible for identifying and cultivating relationships with community partners in the Big Bend Hospice service area, organizing outreach to increase community awareness of BBH Services, and building brand awareness through ads, press releases, and stories. Social Media, Newsletters, Annual Reports: Helps to develop content for publications and social media to recognize volunteer and community relations contributions to the organization.
Recruitment: Develop a recruitment plan to market all volunteer opportunities and roles in the organization; host and attend recruiting events within the community to attract qualified volunteers. Interview and pre-screen potential volunteers.
Tech Savvy: Utilize spreadsheets, medical record systems, word processing, online meeting platforms, time tracking, Volgistics, and email.
Salary Range: $42,000 - $45,000 annually.

Facilitates grief support groups and services for individuals, families, and youth.

What We Are Looking For:
We are seeking innovative hospice and palliative care providers to lead a new hospice-run IPU at a tertiary care hospital. Opportunity to partner with an established inpatient palliative care program and hospice team. This is a great opportunity to use palliative and hospice skills and tailor practice over time.
Minimum Qualifications:
Licensure: Licensed to practice medicine in the State of Florida and have an active DEA license
MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
Residency graduate in Internal or Family Medicine.
Board certification in Hospice and Palliative medicine or Fellowship Trained/Board eligible or Hospice Medical Director Certified (HMD thru AA).
Experience in home hospice and GIP/Hospice House care.
Ability to work full-time hours, Monday - Friday, with occasional weekend and on-call work.

Provides comprehensive palliative and supportive medical care in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act, under physician collaboration, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, prescribing, and referral management
Develops, implements, and coordinates individualized plans of care in collaboration with physicians, interdisciplinary team members, and community providers to ensure effective symptom management and continuity of care
Conducts patient visits across home, facility, and clinic settings; evaluates eligibility for supportive services; and supports hospice-related care needs, including face-to-face visits and on-call rotation
Educates patients, families, and caregivers on symptom management, treatment options, advance care planning, and psychosocial and spiritual needs, aligning care with patient and family goals
Completes accurate, timely clinical documentation; participates in interdisciplinary meetings; and serves as a clinical resource to team members and community partners to support program growth
Ensures compliance with Medicare, Medicaid, state and federal regulations, HIPAA, and conditions of participation; contributes to quality improvement initiatives and maintains professional competence through continuing education
Performs other duties as assigned
Work Schedule:
Monday-Friday: 8:00 am- 5:00 pm.
Call rotation required every two weeks for weekend and after hour telephonic support.
Travel Requirement:
You must have a reliable vehicle and be willing to be dispatched throughout our services areas.

Qualifications
Education & Experience:
Master's degree or doctorate in Nursing from an accredited advanced practice school of nursing for nurse practitioner.
Licensed in the state of Florida as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN).
Must have BLS/CPR certification.
A minimum of two (2) year Nurse Practitioner/ APRN experience.
Minimum of one (1) year of relevant clinical experience in hospice, palliative care, or a related specialty (e.g., primary care, geriatrics, oncology, cardiology, pulmonary, or complex chronic disease management.
Skills & Abilities:
Knowledge of palliative/supportive care principles and the end-of-life process; Certification in a specialist area preferred; (e.g., Hospice and Palliative Nursing (ACHPN), Pediatrics or Geriatrics).
Knowledge of computers systems, Microsoft office, along with good organizational skills.
Excellent observation, verbal and written communication skills, critical thinking skills, interpersonal skills, and mathematical skills; nursing skills per competency checklist.
Pediatrics: Must have experience and/or training in the developmental stages and needs of infants, children, and adolescents.
Demonstrates knowledge in communication and counseling patient/family in dealing with serious illness issues.

Active and Cleared APRN license

Hospice Aide
