What's the role?
The Underground Miner - Mucker/Loader Operator reports to the Underground Shift Supervisor, and the primary role is to safely and efficiently operate underground equipment and perform various mining tasks, including load UG Haul trucks, muck face rounds and assist in road work. Other duties may include Haul Truck, Nipper, Powder Crew & Rockpick.
Underground duties and equipment operated may vary from time to time and include:
* Conduct post-blast inspections and wash down all headings prior to commencing work.
* Muck development headings to standard.
* Perform clean-up following a blast and maintain the condition of all roads underground.
* Production mucking, including tele-remote, from stopes to muck bay.
* Load haul trucks.
* Accurate recording of haulage movement.
* Working as directed to minimize equipment down-time and maximize productivity.
* Ensure all safety related activities are undertaken in accordance with Company policy and MSHA requirements including Hazard ID's, pre-start checks, pre-start meetings, and incident reporting.
* Assist with fault finding and preventative maintenance
* Assessing and monitoring of ground conditions.
* Perform such other duties as directed by the Shift Supervisor

* Experience in underground hard rock mining techniques
* Experience, 3 years minimum, operating underground loaders/muckers REQUIRED.
* Experience operating underground remote muckers (not essential)
* Basic mechanical knowledge.

* Flexibility to adapt to improved procedures and practices.
* Ability to provide leadership and training to new team members (not essential).
* Must have good comprehension of safe operating procedures, safety rules, policies, emergency procedures, and MSHA requirements.

The Details:
Working a 3 week on, 3 week off rotating schedule of days and nights, up to 12 hours a day or more at a remote campsite. Extreme conditions, including but not limited to extreme and changing weather conditions, dust, mud, varying levels of noise, varying degrees of light and dark, in and around artificial light and in a confined work area.
Employees are required to stay on site at the company provided camp during the work rotation. Camp facilities provide dining service, games room, exercise & weight room, sauna, and accommodation rooms. Dormitory rooms have a land line phone, great Wi-Fi & cable TV. Cell service is available through Wi-Fi. The Company provides a bus service to and from Fairbanks, Delta Junction and Tok, Alaska.

What's the role?

Greely, AK, on our TEAMS Next Facility Lifecycle Management contract supporting the Missile Defense Agency. This individual will provide advanced support to the Missile Defense Agency in scheduling, planning, programming, designing, and executing facilities operations and maintenance activities.
Responsibilities:
Provide advanced support to the Missile Defense Agency in scheduling, planning, programming, design, and execution of facilities operations and maintenance activities
Work as part of an interdisciplinary technical team on facility projects. Participate in site facilities working groups to plan for maintenance activities and facility changes
Lead and execute tasks, utilizing both analytical techniques and processes for complex developmental and operational programs
Support the Government Project Manager to plan, program, execute, and document Military Construction (MILCON) and sustainment, restoration, and modernization (SRM) projects
Anticipate, plan, track, and document facilities maintenance activities (corrective, preventive, predictive, et. al.). Initiate and track to closure facility change proposals
Review and develop responses to construction, repair, and renovation projects' design documentation, RFIs, and submittals
Participate in master planning activities
Review facility infrastructure and facility equipment concerns and develop/coordinate the scope-of-work and plans to address
Coordinate government cost estimates for facilities projects and track project funding
Provide surveillance of maintenance and/or construction contractor activities
Draft, review, and contribute to technical reports and documentation
Obtain, analyze, distribute, and archive technical and contractual information
Prepare decision documentation at the General Officer/Senior Executive Service level to include briefings and supporting materials such as executive summaries, courses of action, status reports, and information papers
Perform other duties as assigned

Bachelor's degree with 13+ years of relevant experience, OR
Master's degree with 10+ years of relevant experience

Position Responsibilities:
Direct and execute system-level integration, functional and acceptance testing, and post‑modification checkouts; collect, analyze, and report test data and anomalies.
Lead and perform complex field modifications, system upgrades, retrofits, and installations on GMD launch, C2, sensor, and support equipment per engineering drawings, technical orders, and approved work packages.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex electrical, electronic, and electromechanical failures; provide root-cause input and recommend corrective actions.
Maintain configuration control and as-built documentation; review and approve field change packages and wiring/assembly updates.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior technicians; assign tasks, review work, and enforce quality and safety standards.
Act as a primary technical point of contact with government and contractor stakeholders; present technical briefings and status updates.

Basic Qualifications:
Minimum 6 years' of experienced with mechanical/electrical/electronic assembly including multimeters, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and other diagnostic equipment, modification, and test work
Minimum 3 years' of experience leading field modification and integration teams on complex systems.
Minimum 3 years' of experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical orders.
Experience with LRU removal/installation, and electromechanical alignment.
Experience with executing test procedures, writing clear discrepancy reports, and participating in root-cause analysis.
Comfortable working outdoors in extreme cold, able to lift/carry up to 35 lbs., climb ladders, and work at heights.
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior GMD, missile defense, launch systems, radar/sensor, or DoD field engineering experience.
5+ years in defense/aerospace or missile defense preferred.
Familiarity with configuration management systems and maintenance tracking databases.
Certifications: IPC soldering, OSHA safety, crane/hoist operator, forklift, NVLAP/test-equipment calibration, or equivalent.
Military technical training or prior service in electronics/avionics/ground-systems MOS/AFC/NEC.
Physical & Work Environment
Routine work at Fort Greely in remote, cold-weather conditions (snow, ice, sub‑zero temperatures, limited winter daylight).
May require shift work, on-call availability, and travel to off-site ranges or contractor facilities.
Must follow strict PPE, safety, and security protocols.

What You'll Do
As a Multi-Disciplinary Engineer, you will:
Deploy, configure, and support customer laptop and desktop computer systems, software applications, IT support equipment, and VoIP and telephony (mobile phone) products
Provide on-site and remote troubleshooting support for customer equipment and resolve issues as required, especially during test and event periods
Provide technical support for enterprise networking and infrastructure projects
Maintain and provide 100% uptime network support, including cabling (fiber and copper) support as needed
Provide COMSEC support to deployed COMSEC equipment, function as the local COMSEC Hand-Receipt Holder, perform re-keying, and deliver general COMSEC support
Document all work and maintain clear records
Perform as the Trusted Agent for the site
