Associate, Bowery Legal
Interplay 3.6
Remote or New York, NY job
About Bowery Legal:
At Bowery Legal, we combine big-firm Corporate and M&A experience with the focus and flexibility of a boutique practice. Our attorneys have trained at some of the most respected law firms in the world, including Latham & Watkins, Gunderson Dettmer, Skadden, Mayer Brown, Greenberg Traurig, and Baker McKenzie. We are highly-capable, Big Law-trained attorneys who have all decided that there must be a better (and more humane) way to practice law while still being exceptional in our craft. For attorneys out there that feel the same way, Bowery Legal is an oasis in the desert.
About the Role:
Bowery Legal is looking for a talented attorney with relevant in-house and/or law firm experience in transactional and corporate law. The associate will primarily be responsible for handling emerging companies and venture capital related matters including entity formation and setup, equity and debt financings, commercial contracts, corporate governance, “outside general counsel” responsibilities and other general corporate matters. The attorney will work closely with the Managing Partner and other business team members on a regular basis.
What You'll Do:
Serve as outside general counsel to early-stage and growth companies: triage day-to-day legal questions, spot issues, and deliver practical, business-minded guidance.
Form and structure new entities (DE C-corps/LLCs, holding/operating companies), draft founder docs (IP assignment, vesting, ROFR/Co-Sale), and set up cap tables (e.g., Carta) from day one.
Lead venture financings end-to-end (pre-seed to Series B+): draft/negotiate SAFEs and convertible notes, NVCA equity rounds, term sheets, stock purchase agreements, investor rights/ROFR/Co-Sale, voting agreements, and ancillary closing deliverables.
Manage debt transactions for venture-backed companies: review term sheets, negotiate loan and security agreements, warrants, intercreditor/subordination arrangements, and coordinate perfection/filings.
Own closing execution: run diligence, build and track closing checklists, coordinate signatures, manage data rooms, and deliver clean, on-time closings.
Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts (SaaS subscriptions, MSAs/SOWs, DPAs, NDAs, vendor and partnership agreements) with attention to data, IP, and risk allocation.
Advise on corporate governance and compliance: board and stockholder consents, charter/bylaw updates, equity plan administration, 409A, insider matters, and ongoing minute-book hygiene.
Proactively manage projects and client communications across time zones in a largely remote-first environment, balancing responsiveness with thoughtful, high-quality work.
Required Experience:
Strong academic credentials including a J.D. from a top law school.
Membership in the New York state bar is required.
2+ years of experience with a top national law firm or in-house with a technology company.
Strong project management, communication and analytical skills are a must, as are strong communications skills (oral and written).
Ability to work independently but remain connected in a remote work environment is critical if the attorney works remotely from other team members.

More About Us.
Before a business ramps up production and begins an expensive marketing campaign, they look to find answers from real -world consumers. They want to know such things as what age group would most likely purchase the item they're selling and what income bracket does that age group fall into? Maybe they want to know how often one would need their service and in what parts of the country do these individuals live.
So, how do we go about helping find these answers? Well we have an array of tools we use to pinpoint the needs of our customers. We use concept testing, tracking studies, choice modelling, risk analysis, advertisement research, online surveys and focus groups to name a few. But none of these work unless we have participants who are willing to answer questions, join focus group zoom meetings or even test products hands -on and provide feedback. We also need assistance creating questions that serve to extract information from future consumers. We need help in extrapolating raw data from surveys, entering data into software and interpreting what it all means. We need all kinds of help and the best part is that all the work we need done can be done from your home office.
If you feel like you have interest in working remotely and in temporary part -time or full -time positions, feel free to submit your application. You could become an integral member helping businesses understand their market and ultimately locating their next customer.

Remote job
We're UserTesting-the leader in human insight. Our mission is to help organizations craft exceptional customer experiences through fast, actionable feedback.
We empower teams to build the best products and experiences by embedding real human perspectives into every stage of the development process-from ideation to launch. With the world's strongest participant network, AI-powered analysis, expert services, and seamless integrations, we help companies eliminate guesswork, align stakeholders, and bring customer needs into sharp focus.

Let's build experiences people love-together.
About the Opportunity
UserTesting is evolving our engineering foundation into a cohesive, modern platform, one that empowers developers to move quickly with confidence while ensuring our systems remain secure, reliable, and efficient.
We are looking for an experienced Senior Infrastructure & Platform Engineer to help build and scale the internal platform capabilities that underpin the UserTesting product. This role sits within the Operations & Infrastructure team, part of the broader Platform group, and focuses on creating opinionated, well-designed infrastructure and developer experiences that reduce cognitive load and accelerate delivery.
What You Will Do
Design, build, and maintain AWS infrastructure using Terraform, reusable modules, and modern IaC patterns.
Develop and operate Kubernetes (EKS) clusters, ensuring scalability, cost effectiveness, and secure-by-default configurations.
Shape and evolve internal platform capabilities: golden paths, templates, and self-service tooling that enable engineering teams to ship faster and safer.
Enhance and standardize CI/CD experiences using GitHub Actions to promote consistency, reliability, and high developer satisfaction.
Implement policy-as-code and automated guardrails that embed security, cost controls, and operational excellence into the platform layer.

Expertise in Terraform, GitHub Actions, and automation-first workflows.
Strong scripting ability (Python, Bash) and hands-on experience with observability tooling.
A platform-product mindset: you care about user experience, maintainability, and measurable improvements to developer velocity.
Passion for automation, well-designed abstractions, and building systems that scale with adoption-not headcount.
Ability to partner effectively across teams, communicate clearly, and influence through technical leadership.
Commitment to reliability, security, and performance as built-in characteristics-not afterthoughts.
Why You Will Love Working Here
Shape the future of UserTesting's internal platform during a pivotal transformation.
Work on high-impact systems that directly improve developer productivity, reliability, and delivery speed.
Collaborate with thoughtful engineers who value quality, simplicity, and innovation.
Enjoy a flexible, outcome-focused environment where ownership and craftsmanship are highly valued.
Help build internal products and paved paths that empower engineering across the company.
