PURPOSE:
Responsible for the prompt minor repairs and ongoing preventative maintenance of material handling equipment.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Job Responsibilities Percentage
* Provide recommendations to repair or replace poorly functioning equipment (10%)
* Efficiently prioritizes repair schedule to ensure an uninterrupted production schedule (10%)
* Troubleshoot equipment problems to include brake, electrical and hydraulic systems, detect imperfections, potential problems, safety issues and/or malfunctions. (10%)
* Provide improvements required to ensure compliance to safety regulations to DC and safety team (10%)
* Ensure that department is appropriately stocked with part and tools needed to perform their job (10%)
* Undertakes actions such as lubrication, cleaning, filter changes, etc, on equipment for preventive maintenance purposes (10%)
* Replace broken or defective parts from stock parts and/or order replacement parts for major repairs (10%)
* Modifies and tests equipment to improve systems uptime and reliability (10%)
* Updates and reviews daily maintenance logs (10%)
* Follows all safety policies and procedures strictly (10%)

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Education/ Certifications/or Equivalent combination of education training and experience:
* 2-3 years of technical maintenance or related experience/training; or equivalent combination of education, experience and training

Knowledge/ Skills/ Abilities:
* Understanding of Safety guidelines
* Able to read and understand blueprints and technical reference manuals.

PHYSICAL ENVIRONMENT/ DEMANDS:
* Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and to stand, walk, bend, stoop, twist and turn frequently.
* Exposed to temperatures ranging from -20 degrees below zero to 35 degrees Fahrenheit in Perishable Operation and 37 degrees to 90 degrees Fahrenheit in Grocery Operation
* Ability to do repetitious arm, wrist and hand movements required for maintenance and service procedures.
* Must be able to work with hands and arms overhead, and to work in or under the equipment.
* Requires manual dexterity, overall coordination and good balance to work both at ground level and in high places to perform job duties. Ability to operate work related equipment

Job Overview
As a Power Equipment Operator, you're an essential part of our behind-the-scenes team-keeping things moving so customers get what they need, when they need it. You'll operate powered equipment to handle merchandise safely and efficiently in our furniture, bedding, and fulfillment warehouses. What You Will Do
Operate Equipment Safely: Use different industrial trucks, including stock pickers and reach trucks at heights up to 40 feet. Navigate narrow aisles using power equipment to pick, pull, put away, stack, and count merchandise to meet standards.
Technology: Input data accurately and efficiently using PCs, handheld computers, radio frequency equipment, or similar devices, while mastering area-specific functions across various systems (including warehouse systems and proprietary systems).
Safety: Safely work in narrow aisles and up to 40 feet high with a harness while moving equipment. Report on equipment failures, damage, accidents, and environmental issues affecting safety to the committee promptly.
Team Collaboration: Must be able to work collaboratively with other team members to achieve goals and maintain a positive work environment. Must be able to understand and communicate effectively with customers, co-workers, and People Leaders. Must be able to read and understand employment policies and safety rules/procedures in English.

As a Distribution Forklift Operator (Reach Truck Driver), you will be part of an energetic team environment with the opportunity to work in various positions in our warehouse. Your primary responsibilities will include:

Working conditions & physical requirements

Job Overview
The Forklift Operator II is responsible for completing material movement throughout the facility and grounds by moving, loading, and unloading assets using a wide variety of material handling equipment at a proficient level, such as a forklift and, or pallet jack.
Duties & Responsibilities
* Pull specific vending and cold drink equipment to fulfill sales request needs
* Ensure all Outbound loads are secured and safe by applying protective wrapping as needed and that the proper documentation is attached (STO)
* Load and unload trailers, as needed, to support delivery activities following CCCI SOPs to ensure accuracy by updating SAP, CONA via handhelds for accountability of Inbound and outbound loads to, from territories supported by Regional Operation Center
* Perform all safety and housekeeping activities, including conducting pre-and post-trip checks, reviewing daily documentation for accuracy, and keeping the work area neat and clutter-free
* Perform miscellaneous activities as directed, assist with staging equipment and other movements, including junking equipment and yard maintenance
* Utilize a switcher to maneuver 53' and pup trailers to the dock as needed
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
* Working knowledge of basic safety principles, including proper lifting and use of personal protective equipment
* Advanced forklift skills (single-wide), with the ability to operate forklifts safely and efficiently in a small area
* Basic pallet-jack skills
* Rudimentary mechanical skills and simple tool usage
* Ability to operate multiple pieces of simple machinery
* Read and Follow written SOP's or instructions
* Complete forms (handwritten and, or computer-based) to document activities and results
* Follow verbal instructions Intermediate math skills
* Thorough understanding of elements contributing to productivity
* Capacity to assess order building, loading workflow and choose optimum pick, load path
* Ability to simultaneously manage multiple processes to support overall system efficiency
* Ability to consistently count received and compare to manifest with a high degree of accuracy
* Ability to consistently load trucks following documentation with a high degree of accuracy
* Possess strong communication skills
* Must be able to work in extremely high and low temperatures, noisy conditions, slippery walking surfaces, and broken glass
* Occasionally lifting over 25 lbs. and rarely up to or over 50 lbs.

* Opening and closing truck dock doors
Minimum Qualifications
