Description:

Provide engineering support for production stope designs and short-range planning. Mine planning includes stope and access design, along with stope infrastructure requirements. Infrastructure encompasses but is not limited to ventilation boreholes, muck passes, mine drainage, and electrical installations. Mining methods include ramp and fill, cut and fill (both mechanized and slusher supported), uphole longhole stopes, and underhand mining with paste backfill. Mine planning includes assessment of ground control needs (in conjunction with rock mechanics engineers), ventilation assessments (in conjunction with ventilation engineer), geological constraints or opportunities (with production geologists), and estimations of economic viability against varying operating parameters. Prepare yearly production budgets, monthly and quarterly forecasts, manpower budgets, and reconcile forecasts with achievements.
Qualifications and Skills:
Required:

Strong computer skills in AutoCAD, Excel, and Word.

Working knowledge and understanding of cost and schedule variance.
Preferred:
Proven short-range mine planning and scheduling experience.

Education and Experience:
BS in Mine Engineering or equivalent with 1-5 years engineering experience, or 5-8 years equivalent working experience.

Summary/Objective:
The Culinary Services Aide performs designated work and cleaning routines for the culinary department in accordance with current applicable federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations, with established policies and procedures and assuring resident safety.
Essential Functions:

Physical Demands:
The Culinary Services Aide stands and walks intermittently throughout the working day, as well as reaches, stoops, bends, lifts, carries, and manipulates various food products, dietary supplies and equipment. The Dietary Aide must have an ability to work with chemicals and cleaning agents. Must be able to lift and/or carry 50 to 75 pounds and withstand exposure to temperature and humidity changes as in entering refrigerated storage areas, working at ovens, ranges, dish-washing machines, and at steam tables.

Numerical ability is necessary for recipe preparation and proper measuring of cleaning agents and chemicals, as well as good motor coordination and manual dexterity are required for various work routines such as preparing food items, serving trays, handling soiled dishes, operating dietary equipment and cleaning work area. The Dietary Aide will be able and willing to work flexible hours, such as during an emergency situation and must be patient and tolerant toward staff, residents, and family members.
