We are seeking a skilled and motivated Mitigation Manager to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will oversee all aspects of the Mitigation department including operations, people, compliance, financial performance, and carrier relationships. This role requires strong leadership, insurance knowledge, and hands-on experience managing high-volume water losses.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
Lead and manage all water mitigation operations (water, mold, fire, trauma)
Scale the department
Ensure full compliance with TPA programs (dash, carrier KPIs, documentation, timelines)
Oversee job costing, margins, labor efficiency, and profitability
Manage and mentor project managers, coordinators, and field staff
Ensure accurate documentation, photo capture, moisture mapping, and billing

Proven experience working with TPAs and insurance carriers
Strong understanding of Xactimate, mitigation billing, and insurance guidelines
Experience managing teams, schedules, and high job volume
Ability to lead, coach, and hold teams accountable
Strong organizational and communication skills
Valid driver's license and clean driving record
Preferred Qualifications
Experience scaling a mitigation department
Prior experience in multi-division restoration companies

Responsibilities
Pack Out Services:
Carefully pack out personal belongings, furniture, and household items from affected properties.
Inventory and log items using digital inventory-tracking systems to ensure accurate documentation.
Assist with the setup and breakdown of emergency restoration equipment as needed.
Prepare contents for secure storage, ensuring proper labeling and organization.
Load and unload household goods for transport and storage.
Cleaning and Deodorization:
Clean and restore personal belongings and household contents impacted by water, fire, smoke, or mold.
Perform high-detail cleaning of both contents and interior structures as needed.
Use specialized equipment and chemicals to complete cleaning and deodorization tasks effectively and safely.
Follow established restoration protocols and company procedures to ensure quality and consistency in service.
Qualifications
Clean driving record and valid drivers license
Previous experience in restoration, cleaning, or contents handling is a plus.
Ability to lift and carry heavy items (50+ lbs) and work in physically demanding environments.
Comfortable working in environments impacted by smoke, water, mold, or fire damage (PPE provided).
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment and adapt to changing priorities.
Valid driver's license and clean driving record preferred.
IICRC certification in Fire and Smoke Restoration (FSRT), Water Damage Restoration (WRT), or similar is a plus.

Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced plumber who is passionate about training and developing people to fill our part-time Plumbing Instructor role. This position supports the Director of Training in executing the curriculum, mentoring apprentices, and ensuring training initiatives align with Bill Howe's performance standards and core values. The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator, organized, and committed to fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth within our Plumbing Apprentice Academy.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
Support the development and implementation of apprentice training curriculum
Coordinate daily learning activities and provide logistical support
Assist with the evaluation of training effectiveness and recommend improvements
Mentor apprentices and facilitate one-on-one or group coaching sessions
Track and document apprentice progress and performance metrics
Assist in managing student coordination and communications
Collaborate with the Director of Training to identify training needs via skills gap analysis
Contribute to the development of new technician-to-truck programs
Research training tools, technologies, and methods (e.g., ServiceTitan modules, online platforms)
Participate in recruitment and hiring efforts for apprentice roles
Step in to lead training sessions when needed
Carry out additional duties as assigned by the Director of Training or Operations Manager
Minimum Qualifications
Minimum 3-5 years experience as Plumber
Valid Driver's License
Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
Working knowledge of plumbing trade and code requirements
Prior leadership or mentorship experience preferred
Prior experience as instructor preferred but not required

Pack Out Services:
Carefully pack out personal belongings, furniture, and household items from affected properties.
Inventory and log items using digital inventory-tracking systems to ensure accurate documentation.
Assist with the setup and breakdown of emergency restoration equipment as needed.
Prepare contents for secure storage, ensuring proper labeling and organization.
Load and unload household goods for transport and storage.
Cleaning and Deodorization:
Clean and restore personal belongings and household contents impacted by water, fire, smoke, or mold.
Perform high-detail cleaning of both contents and interior structures as needed.
Use specialized equipment and chemicals to complete cleaning and deodorization tasks effectively and safely.
Follow established restoration protocols and company procedures to ensure quality and consistency in service.
Qualifications
Clean driving record and valid drivers license
Previous experience in restoration, cleaning, or contents handling is a plus.
Ability to lift and carry heavy items (50+ lbs) and work in physically demanding environments.
Comfortable working in environments impacted by smoke, water, mold, or fire damage (PPE provided).
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment and adapt to changing priorities.
Valid driver's license and clean driving record preferred.

Responsibilities:
Conduct an initial assessment to determine the extent of the damage, the scope, and the strategy to remediate mold, sewage, fire, and water losses.
Moisture map and sketch projects accurately, and communicate the scope of work with the customer, insurance adjuster, and project manager.
Understand all metering tools (thermal camera, penetrating and non-penetrating, thermal hygrometer, etc).
Accurately track and allocate materials and equipment used on each project.
Document each project through photos, and field reports; and save samples of materials removed.
Be proficient in selling jobs and signing work authorizations.
Qualifications:
5 or more years of Water Damage Restoration experience
IICRC WRT Certification
Clean driving record
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to lift, push, pull, and/or move up to 25 pounds. Regularly required to sit, walk, stand, stoop, bend, squat, open doors, and climb/ descend stairs.
Operate standard office equipment (computers, phones, copier, fax machine or scanner).
Environmental Conditions:
Travel to a variety of work sites every day in a company vehicle.
