A Billing or Administrative assistant creates and sends invoices to customers. You are also in charge of tracking money owed by customers and ensuring payments are made on time by sending reminders to them regarding money owed. Billing assistants receive card or credit card payments remotely or in person. The responsibilities of a billing assistant may also include keeping records of payments and ensuring that they are up to date at all times. The billing assistant also communicates with relevant teams or persons within the organization and prepares reports regarding issues relating to billing and accounts.

Basic data entry and computing skills are needed for this role. A Billing assistant is also expected to have good mathematical skills and should be well organized.
