We have an immediate opening for a full-time e-Commerce Billing/Administrative Assistant to join us at our Cheverly, Maryland office. The schedule is working Monday through Friday, with a start time of between 7:30am-8:30am.

This job organizes and manages the online orders, including fulfillment oversight, order entry, administration, billing, and tracking shipments. This position oversees the order process and ensures orders are processed in accordance with the organization's customer service standards. You will monitor and ensure that adequate inventory levels are maintained. This job covers all aspects of the ordering process including new product development, web store front, order management, tracking, shipping, billing, and some accounting.
The ideal candidate will have the ability to work independently, multi-task and prioritize work effectively to maintain a highly productive workflow. This position requires collaborating with other departments, warehouse and shipping staff, and clients by providing expert service and advice.
Requirements:How you will contribute:
• Process orders and invoices from our online store.
• Utilize billing software to complete client billing.
• Follow up on accounts, completing monthly costing and billing.
• Produce monthly billing reports, maintaining company contacts for billing, and generating job costing reports.
• Proficient in billing and accounting software, especially Excel.
• Accurate data entry.
What you'll bring:
• High School Diploma required.
• Accounting software program experience preferred.
• Experience as a billing specialist or general accounting experience. (1-2 years of related experience)
• Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel).
• Ability to demonstrate good judgment.
• Ability to communicate accurately and concisely.
• Exhibit and maintain a high level of confidentiality as it relates to accounting data.
• Math and analytical skills required.
• Possess superior organizational skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a positive attitude.
