The Collection Representative is responsible for the billing and follow-up related to HMO's, PPO's, Medi-Cal, CCS, GHPP, PCCM's Managed Care and outside organizations. Responds to inquiries and resolves problems regarding billing and collection matters.
Qualifications:
Two years medical billing/collections in a health care environment. Familiar with electronic billing and managed care contract interpretation.
Knowledge of inpatient and outpatient Medi-Cal, CCS, commercial insurance and other government agency payers.

• Work all task related to billing support- Clear documents out of Perceptive Content, clear Service Now tickets, make phone calls to customers to obtain insurance information,assist with any billing tasks as requested.• Assist where needed on any billing functions.• Coordinate mail room and administration activities to include UPS, office supplies. Organize all incoming/outgoing mail to ensure timely and accurate delivery of mail. Monitor shipping and processing costs of UPS and office supply items and ensure compliance with company's approval procedures. Enforce and uphold all mail room policies and procedures to include UPS shipping and receiving and monitoring office supplies. Provide reporting of daily mail productivity.• Support the business with administrative tasks as needed to include processing I-9 new hire & WB, training team, catering, ordering supplies & flowers, team building events, cultural events.• Support Omnicare & Coram Administrative work, including mail/correspondence coordination, and other work items.

The typical pay range for this role is:
Minimum: 17.00
Maximum: 27.16
