Works effectively with Pharmacy Leadership Team, Accounting department, and 340B team to manage the pilot 340B Rebate Program. The 340B Business Consultant will be responsible for rebate accounts receivable tracking, third party vendor portal ownership, and collections follow-up for outstanding manufacturer payments. Ensures that our 340B Rebate program is organized, current, and efficient. Accountabilities include strategic planning for optimized financial capture, establishment of an effective manufacturer network, and ongoing process improvements based on incoming information and discoveries. Candidates with previous 340B and Accounts Receivable experience will be an ideal fit for this role.
Essential Job Functions

Displays initiative to resolve 835 remittance issues including, but not limited to: unapplied cash, claim exceptions, and partial pays. Provide claims resolution to ensure accuracy in the process.
* Assists with inventory, supply and equipment acquisition and repair, and vendor relations.
* Conducts performance and payment audits for both internal and external audits. Supervises the collection of payment data and provides recommendations and resolution to audit results. Attends, reviews, researches, and responds to payer audits. Develops audit responses and correspondences with payer and escalates adverse audits to management.
* Provides proactive and ongoing follow-up and problem solving with insurance companies and pharmacy sites to identify trends, communicate proactively, and ensure accuracy in the revenue cycle process.
* Ensures optimal revenue cycle performance through evaluation, analysis, and problem solving. Provides analysis to stakeholders and constantly analyzes operations in an attempt to improve processes in order to provide better customer service and improve the revenue cycle.
* Reviews payments for accuracy, ensure collection according to contracts, and follows-up with insurance companies to leverage the revenue process.
* Oversees the creation of analysis consisting of proformas, IRR's, capital requests, and business line opportunities.
* Collect and analyze data for fiscal impact of existing and proposed contracts, business lines, and product lines for both internal and external customers. Provide analysis, recommendations, and summary to stakeholders
* Understands contracts to achieve results and department metrics, including but not limited to: payer DSO equal or exceeds department goals, A/R percentage over 60 days equals or exceeds department goals, and timely submission of secondary payer billings equals or exceeds department goals.
* Maintains competency in all organizational, departmental and outside agency environmental, employee or patient safety standards relevant to job performance.

Essential Job Functions
* Develops and oversees business unit to ensure adherence to organizational mission, vision, values, strategic goals, and business objectives. * Maintains department(s) databases, primary records, manuals, and reference materials. Supply Chain Operations Technicians are responsible for representing all departments of Billings Clinic in a dynamic fast paced environment where change is the norm, not the exception. They take pride and ownership in providing exceptional customer service. Primary duties include, but are not limited to; shipping and receiving, handling inventory, filling stock orders and delivering stock and non-stock supplies (including but not limited to medications, needles, sharps, blades, solutions, etc) data entry, computer and telephone usage, quality control inspections, delivery of mail, lab specimens and medical records as needed for patient care, and training and orientation of newly assigned staff members. This position will rotate through the entire job functions listed below and will perform clerical and administrative tasks to as needed for support of the department and the organization.
Essential Job Functions
* GENERAL

* SUPPLY PARS
Counts and refills supplies (including but not limited to medications, needles, sharps, blades, solutions, etc) from predetermined par levels. Refills supplies from a systems generated request to the predetermined par level.
* COMPUTER USEAGE
Utilizes computer information systems for look-ups of on-hand quantities, unit of issue, catalog numbers, entering counts for par refills to produce pick lists and for location of supplies within the warehouse. Utilizes web based software and Microsoft office software.
* SHIPPING
Receives items to be shipped out making sure the proper paperwork is with the product and that the item has been properly packaged to ensure no damage in shipping. Must maintain knowledge of packing and shipping requirements for hazardous materials.
Utilizes FedEx and UPS computers for proper shipping labels and addressing.
Coordinates palletized shipments that must be shipped by truck to ensure the best trucking rates.
* RECEIVING
Receives and unpacks shipments and checks packing list against the shipment and purchase order. Assures that quantities received match quantities recorded on the purchase order. Signs off on all incoming shipments. Responsible for receiving, packing and inspection of supplies and verification of information on the invoices and shipping notices are accurate for all products received in the warehouse including product, quantity, unit conversion and catalog number. Enters purchase orders received and quantities received in order to ensure accuracy of on hands inventory. Reports all discrepancies to the Lead or Coordinator and the purchasing agent responsible for the purchase order.
Inspects all products to ensure against damage and shortages/overages. Works closely with purchasing regarding discrepancy reports, quantity ordered against quantity received, wrong catalogue numbers, conditions of shipments received, and damage reports.
Works closely with Purchasing and Accounting Departments regarding questions about product arrival, quantities and purchase order clarifications.
* FREIGHT STOCKING
Verifies receipt notification to product, quantity, unit conversion and catalog number. Stocks and stores supplies from predetermined par levels in appropriate designated areas within the warehouse. Marks products with labels reflecting appropriate charge codes. Maintains stock area in a neat and orderly manner. Rearranges and rotates stock for orderly and timely usage of dated materials. Reports discrepancies to the Lead/Coordinator.
* REQUISTIONS
Reviews information on supply requisitions verifying required information is listed including description, quantity, department name and cost center and who is ordering. Picks and assembles orders, verifying and accounting for products and transactions. Processes credits for returned merchandise at the time it is received to ensure the on-hands quantities in the warehouse are correct for reorders. Reports any discrepancies or problems to Lead Supply Chain Operations Technician or Supply Chain Operations Coordinator.
Assembles and distributes routine receiving documents. Maintains daily pick-up/delivery records and weekly operational reports. Inputs entries into the Supply Chain Operations information system.
Delivers supplies and equipment to all departments according to procedures and obtains signatures for proof of delivery. Delivers and retrieves rental equipment from outside agencies.
* DISPATCHER
Coordinates customer service relation issues between Distribution and Billings Clinic departments. Receives and dispatches routine and STAT calls for supplies, equipment, courier services. Responsible to investigate problem scenarios and make recommendations for corrective action.
Coordinates daily work assignments of Supply Chain Operations Technicians to ensure appropriate coverage for all work areas/functions. Reports staff absences and/or shortages to Lead Supply Chain Operations Technician and/or Supply Chain Operations Coordinator.
Reviews and verifies completeness of information on supply requisitions before entering into the computer system for pick lists (i.e., department name, department account number, product description, quantity ordered, unit of issue, authorized signatures, etc.).
Enters data from completed pick lists and requisitions to account for relief inventory of distributed products.
Enters data from returned merchandise/products to ensure correct accounting of on hands inventory.
* SURGERY
Works closely with the OR Supply Chain Specialist to ensure product availability for scheduled surgeries.
Maintain product knowledge of surgery non-stock and stock reporting items in order to coordinate purchases with OR, purchasing, Lead Supply Chain Operations Tech and/or Coordinator as appropriate.
* INVENTORY
Periodically performs quality control checks to verify the accuracy of the Supply Chain Operations information management system as compared to actual product on hand. Makes recommendations for changes in par levels for supplies and linen to the Lead Technician or Coordinator.
Determines needs for supply replacement from predetermined established inventory levels. Notifies Lead Supply Chain Operations Technician of critical stock balances.
Utilizes computer information systems for look-ups of on-hand quantities, unit of issue, catalog numbers, entering requisitions and purchase orders, entering counts for par refills to produce pick lists and for location of supplies within the warehouse.
* EQUIPMENT
Receives, distributes and stores reusable equipment managed by Supply Chain Operations Department (i.e., IV pumps, PCA pumps, Plum pumps, Excels, rental beds, etc.). Monitors equipment inventories and ensures adequate supplies to meet business needs.
Cleans, disinfects and prepares equipment for use following standardized procedures utilizing proper disinfectants and in accordance with infection control guidelines.
Examines equipment for defects and reports observed defects to Bio-Medical Department.
Makes rounds to all patient rooms and equipment locations to scan the equipment for accurate record of all equipment locations. Utilizes scanners at patient bed side to record patient name and room number and equipment ordered to ensure correct patient charges are submitted. Transports equipment to and from the various inpatient hospital units as needed.
Performs data entry of charges for rental equipment and pumps into the patient billing system.
* CLEANING
Cleans shelves in the warehouse using proper infection control procedures on a monthly basis.
Keeps work area free of obstacles and clean of paper and boxes by crushing and/or baling boxes.
Sweeps the floors daily or as needed.
* UPDATING
Inspects assigned sections and/or aisles within the warehouse for products that are outdated or are nearing their expiration dates ensuring that no outdated product is issued.
* ORIENTATION/TRAINING
Performs all of the duties of a Supply Chain Operations Technician as needed to maintain production levels and meet customer/business needs.
Participates in the orientation and training of staff. Coordinates closely with the Lead Supply Chain Operations Technician and/or Coordinator regarding any orientation/training issues. Acts as a resource to other Supply Chain Operations Technician staff assisting with questions and problem resolution.
Utilizes performance improvement principles to assess and improve quality. Assists the Lead Supply Chain Operations Technician in maintaining all quality control standards in the distribution section. Performs studies and/or inspections and prepares reports as requested.
* GENERAL REQUIREMENTS

Provides continuity of operations in the absence of the Supply Chain Operations Coordinator/Manager. Responsible for providing direction while overseeing activities associated with the day-to-day operations of supply chain operations functions. Prepares work schedules and gives daily assignments to ensure all required tasks are completed. Acts as a liaison with other departmental staff concerning supply issues. Provides advice concerning logistical support and product flow. Participates in Billings Clinic committees as appropriate (i.e., Product Standards Committee).
Acts as a resource to staff responding to procedural questions and assistance with problem resolution. Performs training and orientation for new and existing Supply Chain Operations Technicians I & II. Evaluates employee knowledge and ability to perform work in relationship to training needs.
Provides documented input and feedback for disciplinary and performance appraisal processes.
Responsible to ensure the highest possible level of customer service, staff adherence to established policies and procedures and maximizes productivity levels. Maintains par count sheets, courier routes and outlines of daily job responsibilities. Performs quality control audits checking on order fills, order deliveries, courier runs and routes and linen deliveries. Conducts studies and/or inspections to facilitate statistical analysis of employee performance, with all numbers and outcomes reported to the Supply Chain Operations Coordinator/Manager. Maintains computer application or system files that impact the warehouse issued patient chargeable goods and/or patient charge capture. Responsible for maintaining master files, troubleshooting problem scenarios. Conducts perpetual inventory counts performing cycle counts, audits on daily issues, researching and monitoring inventory reporting and discrepancies, coordinating with Purchasing to correct on-hand stock as needed. Conducts complete cycle count inventory on all stock twice per year as directed by the Supply Chain Operations Coordinator/Manager. Determines quantities for floor par and warehouse stocks. Recommends standardization of warehouse stock items and other cost containment issues.
Reviews invoices and billing for laundry services, ensuring accuracy. Prepares departmental linen service billings. Monitors distribution activities and utilizes performance improvement principles to assess and improve quality.

This position is responsible for coordinating the care and services specific to the surgical specialty patient populations needing across the continuum of care for both inpatient and outpatient services; scheduling and coordination of cases and assuming a key role with the multi-disciplinary team to achieve optimal clinical, financial and resource outcomes. Skilled in the surgical specialty specific patient/family education. Acts as liaison for referring providers and patients. Responsible for applying evidence-based nursing practice to the care of patients.
Essential Job Functions

* Conducts comprehensive nursing assessments utilizing critical thinking and advanced nursing practices to triage and assess patient's health status and identify potential for procedural complications and/or implications.
* Reconciles medication history, monitors vitals, reviews and interprets a variety of diagnostic tests (i.e., EKG, O2 oximetry, radiology exams, etc.) and laboratory results accurately to identify any potential contraindications or implications.
* Coordinates the daily care of surgical specialty hospital inpatients and outpatients in conjunction with the physician and midlevel provider. Collects, reviews, and analyzes information for evaluating patient care outcomes. Consideration is given to the appropriateness of care based on the age of the patient. Follows department specific protocols.
* Facilitates and ensures that comprehensive, multi-disciplinary collaboration of care occurs with the patient, family, physicians and other health care providers. Coordinates the plan with the patient, family, multi-disciplinary team, external health care providers, and insurers.
* Coordinates pre- and post-procedural communications with the patient and family and provides education regarding pre- and post-operative patient care instructions. Obtains needed outside records.
* Assesses, coordinates, and facilitates patient's progression throughout the continuum of care. Works with the physician and multi-disciplinary team to establish agreed upon care plans for discharge or transfer to the appropriate care setting. This includes monitoring the patient's acuity according to severity of illness and intensity of service.
* Educates patients and family members regarding procedures throughout the continuum of care.
* Coordinates the development, implementation and evaluation of patient focused outcomes through clinical pathways and/or plans of care. Performs ongoing evaluation of the Clinical Pathway and/or Plan or Care; analyzes variances and implements strategies to resolve them. Utilizes performance improvement principles to assess and improve quality.
* Performs specific nursing functions required to carry out the above job functions, such as communicating verbal or approved protocol orders, writing progress notes, making rounds to visit patients, patient teaching and triaging calls from patients and family members. May assist with diagnostic procedures, and in monitoring patients during clinic procedures.
* Assists in successful implementation of programs to improve coding and reimbursement for specialty specific services. Will assist in identifying referring physicians and assuring to the extent possible, that strong relationships are developed and preserved. Communicates with payors to facilitate the process of obtaining reimbursement authorizations for procedures, inpatient and outpatient. Follows established procedures in regard to denial of benefits.
* Assists the physicians in addressing hospital related issues, serves as a liaison and representative for the surgical specialty in resolving problems, and participates on committees as appropriate.
* Collaborates with other health care providers in developing, implementing and evaluating educational materials for patients and their families.
* Facilitates referral provider communication system through the relaying of pertinent information regarding patients to their referring provider during hospitalization in concurrence with the attending surgeon.
* Performs other duties as assigned or needed to meet the needs of the department/organization. Assist clinic operations through diagnostic testing.
* Responsible for obtaining and reporting quality data specific to the specialty.
* Facilitates and coordinates the lung cancer screening program to ensure appropriate guidelines.

The Claim Specialist's main focus is to obtain maximum and appropriate reimbursement for all claims from government and third-party payers. The Claims Specialist is responsible for preparing and submitting timely and accurate insurance claims to government and third-party payers, assisting in the implementation of payer regulations and ensuring compliance to the regulatory requirements, and verifying payments and adjustments are appropriately applied to accounts based on government, contract or other regulations or agreements. The Claims Specialist is responsible for appropriate follow up on all accounts pending payment from government and third-party payers.
Essential Job Functions

* Responsible for submission of timely and accurate claims to primary, secondary, and tertiary insurances for both electronic and paper submission. Generates telephone calls to insurance carriers to follow up on insurance using reports generated for this purpose to ensure the timely collection of money due on the account.
* Audits accounts by verifying that reimbursement amounts are appropriate, coordination of refunds, if appropriate, and coordinating adjustments when necessary, claims appeals or resubmissions, moving balances from insurance responsibility to patient responsibility when appropriate, and reviews and resolves credit balances.
* Ensure that claims have appropriate information on them for submission to insurance companies or agencies by reviewing errors and other prebilling insurance reports/worklists. Analyzes and review claims to ensure that payer specific regulations and requirements are met.
* Prepares and presents verbally and in writing challenges to third party payers for additional reimbursement for denied charges and/or reductions in reimbursement as appropriate.
* Provides guidance and or assistance to the cashiers.
* Provides timely follow-up on correspondence received from the insurance carrier or patient.
* Responds to inquiries from customers/other departments/insurance carriers regarding insurance coverage issues, coordination of benefits, reconciliation of account balances and complaints regarding services received. Initiates appropriate follow-up on outstanding issues.

The Forensic Nurse Examiner (FNE) will provide timely, non-judgmental, compassionate care to adult and pediatric victims of physical and sexual assault. The sexual assault nurse examiner (SANE) exam may include a medical-forensic exam, evidence collection, prophylaxis for pregnancy and sexually transmitted infections, photographic documentation, and referrals for appropriate medical and psychological follow-up, and may support and participate in legal proceedings. The non-fatal strangulation (NFS) exam may include a medical-forensic exam with evidence collection, photographic documentation, referrals as stated above, and participation in subsequent legal proceedings. The FNE may perform other forensic evaluations and collect evidence as needed.

The incumbent in this position is responsible for collecting and preparing specimens for laboratory analysis. Accurately obtains blood samples via venipuncture and capillary collection procedures with minimum patient discomfort. Ensures age-appropriate care is provided to patients from infant to geriatric. Ensures specimen integrity by following the laboratory's procedures for specimen collection, handling, and processing. Promotes quality patient/client relations and creates supportive climate. Respects and maintains the confidentiality of information relative to the laboratory. Adheres to all laboratory policies and regulations.
This position may be eligible for a sign on incentive.
Essential Job Functions
* Collects and prepares patient specimens to include blood, urine, sputum, and cultures. Coordinate specimen collection with physicians and/or nursing staff when draws must be taken from patients with central lines, groshong catheters and IV assisted draws.
* Adhere to established guidelines and procedures for accurate patient and specimen identification, identifying non-compliance situations and take the necessary steps to bring situation into compliance.
* Utilize computerized systems to enter laboratory orders, patient charges, generate reports, answer inquiries and resolve problems.
* Coordinate with physicians, nursing staff and other health care providers for clarification of orders, laboratory tests available, test result turnaround times, and for coordination of laboratory special procedures involving other health care providers.
* Refers questions regarding types of tests being performed and other aspects of care to the appropriate health care provider. Provides instructions to patients regarding specimen collection to be completed in the home environment. Coordinate with patients and physicians regarding collection errors and initiate appropriate follow-up measures to correct errors.
* Provide back up to laboratory positions on days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays and as needed. Duties include answering phones, requisition entry, routing patient orders, e.g., add-on orders, and preparation of specimens for testing.
* Maintains an adequate inventory of supplies and a neat, orderly and clean work area.
* Identifies needs and sets goals for own growth and development; meets all mandatory organizational and departmental requirements.

Position is responsible for implementation and management of system configurations, analyzing data, information and information system requirements. Develops and provides a variety of reports. Provides clinical and/or technical expertise as a consultant to the user community, branch locations, affiliate or managed sites, Information Services, vendors, etc. Responsible for the orientation and on-going training and education of all user personnel.
Essential Job Functions
* Supports and models behaviors consistent with the mission and philosophy of Billings Clinic and department/service.
* Serves as the primary technology resource for the implementation and on-going development of clinical/financial information systems within the designated service line. Coordinates closely with Billings Clinic Leadership, staff members, Information Services staff, key stakeholders and software vendors for the planning, analysis, design, implementation, evaluation and support for business solutions and resources needed to meet business goals and objectives. * Acts as a liaison and expert resource with the user community and software vendor to identify problems and concerns regarding the overall performance of the clinical/financial information system(s) within the designated service line. Researches, analyzes and makes recommendations and/or initiates corrective action to resolve problems with the internal functionality of the system and/or integration of information between systems. Provides the software vendor with recommendations for system enhancements, detailed information regarding technical or functionality problems and coordinates implementation of recommended fixes received. * Provides technical support and acts as a resource responding to procedural questions regarding system functionality and technical interaction with other Billings Clinic system applications. Develops and executes plans for evaluation of the informatics solution including measurement, disseminating results, and recommending changes to the informatics system. Applies advanced designs to informatics solutions based on capabilities of software, hardware, and usability principles. Provides expert analytical techniques to current work processes and data flow and develops process redesign recommendations leading to a solution and/or functional system requirements. Duties include project management and requirements gathering and analysis for strategic and/or tactical projects, system testing, conversion planning, facilitation of organizational change, coordination and performance of daily support/maintenance activities, program development for orientation/training of new users and on-going education and training for established users, branch locations, affiliate and/or managed sites, etc. (information systems, technical support, system functionality/support)
* Participates in short and long term planning and budgetary processes. Evaluates and recommends enhancement needs for the implementation and on-going development of clinical/financial information systems within designated service line. Develops recommendations and presents information for Billings Clinic Leadership regarding capital expenditures related to the information system(s), performs needs analysis, prepares RFP's, performs product cost analysis and assists with vendor selection. * Participates in the development of policies and procedures as it relates to facilitation of the integration of data/information from one system to another, access, security, and utilization of the information system(s). (Quality/Regulatory, Policies & Procedures, Data Integration)
* Develops innovative quality improvement activities related to informatics or information technology within designated service line and/or the organization resulting in improved information flow and/or processes, improved quality outcomes, etc. (IS, System Liaison, IT Improvements)
* Identifies needs and sets goals for own growth and development; meets all mandatory organizational and departmental requirements. Maintains current knowledge of trends and developments as it relates to information management systems and the assigned department, business unit and/or organization.
* Maintains competency in all organizational, departmental and outside agency environmental, employee or patient safety standards relevant to job performance.
* Performs other duties as assigned or needed to meet the needs of the department/organization.
Minimum Qualifications
Education
* Bachelors degree in a field related to the designated service line preferred
Experience
* 2 of healthcare related experience
* 2 experience involving the implementation, establishment, updating and/or maintenance of an information system, preferred

Under the supervision of the licensed therapy staff, assists in the patients'/residents' rehabilitation processes, to promote independence and successful completion of the established rehabilitation program as established by the licensed therapist(s). Work may be performed within one or more of the environments within Billings Clinic to include hospital, inpatient and outpatient, Aspen Meadows Retirement Community, outpatient clinic, and/or branch or affiliate sites.
