We are looking for a LIMS Associate to join our Automation team in support of clinical patient testing in our high-throughput CLIA lab. The LIMS Associate will be responsible for (1) Supporting smooth and continued operation of clinical workflows, (2) Troubleshooting, investigating, and performing corrective actions for non-conformance reports in a timely manner, (3) Developing tools, scripts, and apps to provide self-service options for non-standard functions to LIMS operators.
This role will help to build upon the strong technology and execution found at BTO. This is considered an onsite role at our Union City lab, with flexibility to work from home or at our Menlo Park site when applicable.
Responsibilities:
Support operators in resolving LIMS issues to minimize sample turnaround time
Investigate the root cause of uncommon issues and propose solutions
Triage & escalate unresolved technical issues to appropriate team members
Monitor sample queues and follow up on unresolved issues or delays
Assist in testing and documenting new LIMS workflow versions
Assist in performing LIMS code reviews, verifications, and validations
Ensure compliance to all relevant corporate and regulatory requirements
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree with Biological or Computational focus (e.g. Bioinformatics)
Proficient in Python
1+ Years Experience bench work experience
2+ Years Experience with developing LIMS, apps, or customer-facing tools (or 0 years with a Master's Degree)
Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose advanced technical issues
Experience developing scripting solutions to automation problems, especially in a fast paced/agile setting
Strong attention to detail and ability to work flexibly and well under given timeframes
Highly organized, strong written and verbal communication skills
Creative problem-solver that finds a way to get things done
Enjoy a wide variety of daily tasks in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment

BillionToOne is seeking a EMR Integrations Manager to lead the operational delivery and continuous improvement of our EMR connectivity across both business units. This role ensures reliable, compliant, and high-performing EMR integrations that enhance provider workflows and patient access to care.
This hands-on position requires an understanding of HL7 integrations, interoperability, and vendor connectivity, combined with excellent project management and stakeholder coordination and communication skills. Responsibilities:
Integration Operations
Manage day-to-day EMR integration operations, ensuring accurate and timely order and result transmissions across partner systems.
Oversee HL7 integrations, including setup, validation, testing, and ongoing monitoring of connections through Redox and other vendors.
Lead manual EMR order associations and triage-investigating and resolving missing or misrouted orders and results.
Improve and maintain automation processes (bots) for EMR order matching and reduce manual touchpoints.

Work with Software engineering to ensure the scalability of our EMR integrations.
Project & Stakeholder Management
Serve as the project manager for EMR integrations across all business units, coordinating between Sales, Engineering, Product, and external partners.
Manage the intake and approval process for new EMR integration requests, ensuring alignment with business priorities and feasibility.
Represent EMR Operations on hospital and clinic integration calls, providing technical and workflow expertise.
Collaborate with Engineering and Product teams to resolve issues, drive continuous improvement, and manage release readiness.
Troubleshooting & Triage
Lead triage of EMR order management issues, including missing results, order mismatches, or compendium misconfigurations.
Coordinate with Engineering, Account Executives, and vendors (e.g., Redox, LK) to investigate and implement corrective actions.
Manage the EMR Slack triage channel, responding to internal team questions, order transmission failures, and troubleshooting requests.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partner with Sales to manage client onboarding workflows, including IT questionnaires, legal contract coordination, and BAA execution.
Act as the central point of communication between IT, Engineering, Sales, Legal, and Clinical Operations for all EMR-related processes.
Maintain and improve internal documentation and playbooks for EMR operations and troubleshooting.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Health Informatics, Information Systems, or related field preferred.
5+ years of experience in lab systems, EMR integration, interoperability, or healthcare IT operations.
5+ years of experience with clinical systems, LIMS, and Salesforce.

We are hiring a Vice President of Medical Affairs, Oncology to lead the execution of all medical affairs and clinical development initiatives for our oncology product line. This operationally focused leader will manage and scale the teams responsible for provider education (MSL), clinical study strategy and execution (Clinical Affairs), and data-driven insights generation (Oncology Translational Research).

We are looking for a Revenue Cycle/Medical Collections Associate to be responsible for focusing on collections and appeals from various Federal, State, & Third Party (HMO, PPO, IPA, TPA Indemnity) payers. This is a remote position and will report to the Manager of Reimbursement Operations. The ideal candidate must be able to:
(1) Optimize payment reimbursements by reviewing accounts for billing accuracy and health plan coverage.
(2) Be persuasive and persistent when following up on claims status, and
(3) process an appeal, resubmit/rebill, or forward claims for adjudication as necessary.
Responsibilities:
Verify claim was submitted to correct insurance.
Review/update patient demographics and information for accuracy.
Process and validate payor requests and claims via correspondence, remittance advice and EOBs (i.e., identify payment discrepancies, inappropriate requests)
Investigate all denied services to determine reason and appeal, if appropriate. Identify and report root causes associated with denials to reduce/resolve issues.
Process assigned appeals including submission, tracking, reporting and evaluation of appeal outcomes (i.e., next steps, improved outcomes)
Maximize utilization of Billing system, tools and resources to support cash collection activities
Review various reports including aging outstanding and denial reports.
Comply with Federal and State legislation on all billing related matters.
Comply with all Safety, Emergency, Hazard, OSHA, HIPAA, Quality Assurance and Administrative Plans, Policies, Guidelines, Protocol, and Standards.
Support and maintain department cash and DSO goals.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 4+ years specializing in Medical Collections at a diagnostics company, laboratory or other healthcare provider, doing collections from commercial payers.
Hands-on experience handling the entire appeals process
Must possess detailed knowledge of all medical benefit levels and have a thorough understanding of Federal, State, & PPO, HMO, and Indemnity Plans structures.
Working knowledge of appropriate coding systems; CPT, ICD-10 and HCPCS, coverage; LCD/NCD and reimbursement associated with such codes.
High School Diploma or a Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university

BillionToOne is looking for a Clinical Genomics Scientist, Oncology to help drive somatic mutation variant interpretation and reporting. BillionToOne has recently launched two oncology liquid biopsy products: Northstar Select™ and Northstar Response™ for late-stage solid-tumor cancer patients. Northstar Select™ is a comprehensive pan-cancer somatic mutation profiling panel. Northstar Response™ is a methylation-based, tissue-agnostic treatment response monitoring assay.
As a member of the oncology clinical genomics team, you are responsible for helping with day-to-day commercial reporting operations, including variant interpretation and report drafting. Working closely with the medical team, you will develop interpretation and reporting policies based on the latest publications and guidelines, and help scale-up our ever growing reporting needs. This role will report to the Senior Manager of Clinical Genomics, Oncology in a remote-based position or at our Menlo Park location.

Responsibilities:
Somatic variant interpretation and data review: Perform somatic-based variant interpretation, diving into the literature and databases to classify variants and match treatments for reporting, performing verification as required with BAM file analysis.
Clinical report drafting: Carefully draft reports for each requisition primarily using in-house reporting API, working closely with the engineering and QA teams on reporting, and the laboratory directors on report language.
Somatic mutation interpretation and reporting policy development: Work closely with lab directors, R&D, medical, and other related functions to develop and modify the somatic interpretation SOPs in accordance with ACMG/AMP guidelines, and the latest published literature.
Content curation: Contribute to curation of gene-level content such as domain and critical residue curation.Molecular tumor board: Serve as a subject matter expert in consulting with the medical science liaison team, and presenting in molecular tumor boards to facilitate knowledge sharing.
Contribute to oncology R&D: Work closely with the R&D team to help with somatic oncology based projects, providing expertise on variant interpretation, biological pathways/mechanisms, and other gene/variant-level reviews and analyses.
Qualifications:
Ph.D. in Human Genetics, M.S. in Genetic Counseling, or related field
2+ years of experience in somatic variant interpretation based on ACMG/AMP guidelines in a clinical setting (alternatively, 1+ years of germline variant interpretation
and
1+ years of somatic variant interpretation experience)
Hands-on experience working with human mutation databases (COSMIC, ClinVar, OncoKB), functional annotation sources (db SNP), and genome browsers (UCSC)
Familiarity with IGV and BAM file analysis and data-minded willingness to learn to use basic bioinformatics tools, with technically minded insights
Knowledge of cancer somatic mutation and signaling pathways (e.g., which mutations have FDA approved drugs, Phase II/III clinical trials, which mutations are considered “hot targets” for drug development, etc.)
Exceptional attention to detail to follow highly detailed SOPs and strong organizational skills to track and manage clinical reporting and product improvement projects

The Prenatal Account Executive, Manassas (VA) is an outstanding prenatal sales executive with experience in diagnostic/genetic testing product sales, who will bring the first and only single-gene NIPT supported carrier and aneuploidy screen to OBGYN clinics & MFMs practices. Responsibilities:
Increasing utilization of UNITY Fetal Risk Screen and driving market development through direct sales to individual OBGYNs, MFMs, and Genetic Counselors

The Account Support Representative (ASR) plays a key supporting role within the regional sales team, assisting in the management and growth of accounts across the entire region. The Sales Training Manager is responsible for developing the selling skills, messaging, product knowledge, and territory management expertise of new sales hires, existing account executives (AEs) and Field Sales Trainers (FSTs). Essential Duties
Include, but are not limited to, the following:
Generate deep insight into local healthcare ecosystems and market landscape in order to identify opportunities to enhance the system of care and deliver improved patient outcomes through integration of Exact Science's solutions.
Analyze the treatment journey across the local system of care in order to identify account opportunities to work with HCPs to improve clinical decision making and deliver better patient and population health outcomes in the context of EXAS current and future pipelines.
Build a network of relationships within accounts in order to gain insight into system, customer and patient unmet needs, including clinical stakeholders and administrators, and diligently captures information on customer interactions using the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) database, including point of contact (POC) information, sales call activities, market intelligence, funnel development and other data points.

The Sales Training Manager, Oncology is a highly motivated and results-oriented individual who is responsible for the day-to-day execution of tasks and processes related to training, including: developing the market landscape and product knowledge, messaging, selling skills, and territory management expertise of new sales hires, existing Oncology Sales Specialists and Senior Oncology Sales Specialists. The Sales Training Manager, Oncology helps identify training gaps, collaborates on solutions, and ensures alignment of goals between field teams, management, and leadership. This individual also has dotted line oversight of Field Sales Trainers (FSTs), coordinating consistent in-territory support for new hires. By combining structured new hire onboarding, field travel, and coaching, this role directly supports sales performance and professional growth.
Working closely with the Director of Sales Training, Oncology, this position ensures consistency of messaging across departments, supports management's OKRs, and helps establish accountability and drive performance for the sales team. This role enhances the effectiveness of the sales organization by equipping team members with the tools, knowledge, and confidence to excel. Through consistent coaching, training, and collaboration with FST's and leadership, the Sales Training Manager, Oncology drives accountability, strengthens sales execution, and contributes to the company's overall growth.
This is a hands-on, individual contributor role reporting directly to the Director of Sales Training, Oncology.
Responsibilities:
Partner with the Director of Training to design, implement, and deliver consistent, concise, and clear training materials and messaging to the sales team, including but not limited to: new hire training, bi-weekly oncology training topics, product launches, and national/regional sales meetings
Lead the onboarding process for new sales team members, ensuring they are equipped with the knowledge and skills to succeed from day one.
Maintain and update training pathways and continuing education courses within ShowPad or other LMS to ensure alignment with the company's sales strategy, product offerings, and market demands.
Field rides and performance coaching for new hires and established sales members
Cross functional collaboration with sales leadership, analytics, marketing, Client Services, and other departments as needed, to ensure alignment of new training content.
Manage logistics for in person new hire training programs.
Support the upkeep of the Sales Training ChatBot with accurate, timely information.
Lead/co-lead workshops and training activities at regional and national meetings, as well as New Hire Training sessions, under the direction of the Director of Training.
Schedule regular touchpoints with FSTs to roll out new messaging, provide product updates, gather feedback on training needs, and field insights.
Develop and streamline processes for FST utilization, ensuring consistent understanding of their role and optimizing Sales Specialist-FST pairings for field rides based on skills and territory needs.
Compile and deliver best practices to support management and field sales teams.
Utilize feedback from sales leadership and reps, as well as performance data, to continuously improve and refine all training initiatives.
Collaborate with the Director of Training and Legal to ensure all training content and messaging align with company objectives and remain compliant with legal requirements.
Proven ability to work independently, demonstrating exceptional project management, prioritization, and execution skills.
Occasional work outside normal 8am-5pm hours to accommodate different time zones
Requires approximately 40% travel for field rides, in-person training, company meetings
Qualifications:
Previous experience as a field sales representative in oncology diagnostics with proven track record of success and strong knowledge of our space
Experience in sales training, preferably within the oncology diagnostics space and/or experience as Field Sales Trainer or similar role
Strong clinical and technical acumen regarding oncology diagnostic testing and cancer genomics
Excellent facilitation, presentation, and written communication skills
Ability to mentor and develop the sales team by providing targeted, constructive feedback and hands-on guidance
Go-getter attitude that excels in project and deadline management while juggling multiple, high-priority training initiatives
Ability to quickly learn video-editing platforms and Showpad or similar learning platforms
Excels at managing multiple projects simultaneously, demonstrating exceptional planning skills while remaining adaptable to last-minute changes
Bachelor's degree in a scientific, business, or related field

The Prenatal Account Executive, Kansas City is an outstanding prenatal sales executive with experience in diagnostic/genetic testing product sales, who will bring the first and only single-gene NIPT supported carrier and aneuploidy screen to OBGYN clinics & MFMs practices. You will deliver clinical information to both external clients throughout your territory and internal teams. You will have significant influence over how the test is communicated to physicians and patients, and how it should evolve to better serve market needs. This is a field sales position and reports to a Regional Manager - Prenatal.
Responsibilities:
Increasing utilization of UNITY Fetal Risk Screen and driving market development through direct sales to individual OBGYNs, MFMs, and Genetic Counselors
Identifying, developing, and managing commercial relationships with key opinion leaders in medicine and other key healthcare professionals
Effectively prospecting and cultivating new business and maintaining key relationships
Identifying and capitalizing on commercial opportunities for growth within a specific region or geography - predominately in OBGYN, MFM, and GC clinics, as well as hospital systems and Federally Qualified Health Centers
Creating and implementing a strategic business plan to grow utilization quickly in your geography
Managing the full lifecycle of the product sales process, including new business development and lead generation
Attending local tradeshows, industry conferences and networking events
Qualifications:
Minimum three (3) years of outside field sales experience within the healthcare sector, directly calling upon providers in specified geographic territory
Demonstrated successful sales track record, understanding of buyer/decision maker types, exhibit effective selling, listening, presentation skills, and ability to assess and respond to customer needs (National awards a plus)
Excellent organizational and communication skills (written and verbal) with demonstrated ability to effectively present to both internal and external customers

The position is responsible for driving sales volume for BillionToOne's Northstar Liquid biopsy products and services, while cultivating relationships with oncologists and other members of the extended cancer care community in the designated geography.
