In this role, you will coordinate all administrative duties and office procedures, ensuring the workplace operates smoothly and efficiently. This individual must have a strong knowledge of dental insurances and dental assisting. Your responsibilities will include scheduling meetings, paying invoices, negotiating with vendors, overseeing staff, and maintaining office equipment. The ideal candidate is highly organized with excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to implement systems and procedures. Responsibilities Maintain calendar of appointments and meetings Oversee training and development of team Collaborate with owner to create, update, and maintain office procedures Maintain office equipment in good working order Pay and record invoices Negotiate contracts and pricing with vendors and service providers Accurately maintain general office budget Ensure credentialing of insurances are completed in a timely manor Qualifications High school diploma/GED required, some college preferred Previous experience as an Dental Office Manager or similar position preferred Understanding of office equipment, systems, and procedures Strong knowledge of dental insurance and prior authorizations required Skilled in Microsoft Office, Excel, and Outlook Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize multiple tasks Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Excellent verbal and written communication skills
