Knowledge Of Process
A) Understand the vendor and customer of the Inline Binders. B) Know how to read a job ticket to determine:
  • Quantity needed to ship.
  • How many forms make up the book
  • Does book contain 4,8,16, or 32 page signatures.
  • What boxes and pallets are required for shipping?
  • Does the job require shrink wrapping, how many per package.
  • How many books go into the boxes?
  • Check for any special Bindery instructions like drilling, inserting, shrink wrapping, etc.
  • Any other instructions pertinent to job.


Knowledge Of Equipment
  • Definition of terms relating to equipment.
  • Knowledge of all running pans and how they operate.

  • Check page sequence before starting run.
  • Check adhesion of cover to text.
  • Check for proper mill and notching depth.

  • Must be able to set up pockets for CD's, B.R.C. cards, tabs and maps.
  • Know how to make minor repairs and adjustments.
  • Make sure correct number of samples are provided.


Physical Requirements
  • Able to lift 50lbs.
  • Good math and reading skills.
  • Requires long periods of standing, bending and lifting.

Other Requirements
  • Flexible schedule, able to work overtime and weekends.
  • Ability to direct co-workers in safety and quality standards.
  • Good communication skills
  • All or any duties necessary for the operation and maintenance of the machine
  • Drug test required
  • Must watch the safety video and take the test

Monday - Thursday, 5am - 3pm, Friday OT - not mandatory
