The Folder/Gluer Operator is responsible for the overall production of the machine and the quality of the work produced. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Include the Following: * Set up and operate the machine, including reviewing production master for pertinent information, keeping up with production records and reporting. * Responsible for the efficiency of the machine and timely completion of orders. * Responsible for coordinating rake-off personnel, as well as the accuracy of load tags and unitizing. * Evaluate production quality; bring any concerns to the attention of the appropriate supervisor. * Responsible for maintaining inventory supplies such as glue. * Adhere to routine maintenance spelled out in the Preventive Maintenance procedures. * Troubleshoot production issues that may arise and inform maintenance department of possible equipment problems. * Work with production supervisor to meet production schedule. * Responsible for the overall safety and cleanliness of equipment and area. * Work in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with company policies and procedures. * Overtime is required. * Perform other duties as assigned. Typically, roles follow step progressions to a target rate or set increments over time. Depending on the role, in addition to the hourly rate of pay, the total compensation package may also include a sign-on bonus of $2,000, overtime, shift differential, call-in, and/or stand-by pay.
